- Being that parshas Miketz will not fall out on shabbos Chanukkah this year with the last day of chanuka on Friday, some yeshivos are contemplating to give off that shabbos instead of shabbos chanukah, since there was just a off shabbos last week and it will be less than 4 weeks apart 

- Several Elementary Schools have sent letters to parents banning kids from bringing the Izzy & Dizzy cards as it has caused fighting among the kids among other issues 

- Jackson Township's Zoning Board reconsidered and granted a use varience for the Yotzer Ohr girls school it previously denied to grant a Use Variance which would have legalized Yotzer Ohr Torah Academy's operations, effectively ordering the school to shut its doors. faanews 

- N.J. Jewish Public Officials Caucus event on Wednesday night hosted an event during the League of Municipalities conference in Atlantic city where there was strong support for Israel with an overflow crowd of politicians, business leaders including gubernatorial candidates Steve Fulop and Jack Ciattarelli U.S. Senate candidates Andy Kim and Tammy Murphy. Newly assembly elect Avi Schnal was there too seen speaking to Tammy Murphy with community leader Rabbi Abe Friedman
