The Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Elya Brudny said: All those that are on their way or are there, should go. They went with the right intentions and following directions of going, "im alu lo yardu" - You went to increase the numbers, not for program and have that in my mind. What changed was that the program is a bizayon to shomrei Torah and mitzvos, a bizayon to mitzvos, shabbos and tefillin - no connection whatsoever to our world. Those that went should stay and have that in mind. (Kol haolam)

Why did our Rabbanim wake up so late to put out this kal Koyre?
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with going to a political rally?
DeleteChutzpah. Rabonim don't need to wake up
DeleteYes they do, because as they ignored to address it, many well intentioned people made arrangements to go and left EARLY this morning, as the Kol Koreh only came out at the 11th hour just today after many already left
ReplyDeleteAnd what is the problem with that? Maran Hagaon Rav Elya Brudny said that those who had already left Lakewood should continue to go to the rally. Clearly this was Ratzon Hashem that those people should go. Hashem wanted this to happen, and no one woke up or went to sleep.
