  1. Melbourne refused to allow a shul to be built a few years ago cause they were afraid of demonstrators (and Hamas type activities) like this.
They don't have a RLUIPA. And even in US we still have trouble building shuls and mosdot.

  4. Wishful thinking that the pressure in the US is just pressure from Muslims - it’s like most of the USA and especially the younger generation…. It’s a so bad
That a huge percentage of the democrats are now saying Biden is too old.

    1. I am not 25 years old any more, and I remember newspapers from years ago. University agitators were always a problem for Israel.

Then, those same people grew up and began living in the real world, and the new generation of pampered lazy university students took over. Nothing new here, and these demonstrations are not a sample of a future America.

    2. Are you a reincarnation of חנניה בן עזור
This is the same as 25 years ago??? This is so fictional, on so many levels

    3. Are you a reincarnation of ירמיה הנביא? Because I thought he came back already as the Rebbe of Uhel?

  7. Isn't participating in the knesset an issur d'oraysa of "joining with reshaim?"

    1. Learn the sources. It has nothing to do with it. See Be'ayos Hazman, Igeres LiYedid, Kerayna De'Igresa and more.

    2. Sitting in the knesset is like sitting on an HOA board together with your secular neighbors. The knesset is a governing body reflecting the realities on the ground.
By going to a rally organized by secular organizations, you are legitimizing them to a degree

    3. Going to a one time rally for a specific cause does not indicate support for it's organizers on a general level. Particularly here when the organizers are not even claiming that this is "our" event Formally voting and taking a permanent seat somewhere is partnering with them. If a HOA consists of mafia thugs who took over and rule by force and you join it afterwards for personal benefit then you are a criminal too.

    4. This doesn't make sense. A one time rally with a huge gathering with no cross currents is joining with reshaim, but day in day out shmoozing, horse trading, and making deals with reshaim is not?

    5. Shotim who know better than Reb Reuven, the Komemiyus'er Rav, and the Steipler who explained themselves in writing.
And better than the Tchebiner Rav, Reb Aaron Kotler, the Chazon Ish, the Belzer Rav, the Beis Yisroel, and many more, who all strongly supported voting, all the while knowing what the Chavrei Knesset do there.

A bunch of pea-brained morons who think they know better.

    6. Actually, you're making the problem, because all of the rabbanim could have easily encouraged going to the rally as well. No problem.

    7. "who all strongly supported voting"
Though some emphatically stated it wasn't &it was for the beleaguered community during that era-
your crowd keep trying to imply that it was open ended

  8. I don't mean to disagree or question Rav Aharon Feldman, so maybe someone can explain to me the quote. I assume he is referring to rabenu yona in sharie tehshuva shaar 3:51. Is that an issur di'oraysa?

    1. If you don't mean ti disagree or question, wouldn't your question best be posed to the talmidei chachomim in your life? Go speak to them, they'll be able to give you the sources.

Unless this is a trolling attempt...
