Kikar shabbat reports: The Lakewood Rosh hayeshiva Rav Dovid Schustal shlita asked the mekubal Rav Dov kook shlita in Eretz Yisrael who has a close kosher with him, what the bnei hayeshiva in America should do to be mechazek themselves regarding the matzav in Eretz Yisrael. Rav Kook responded that men should recite the parsha of the עקדה and parshas התמיד before shachris and Mincha, as for women and girls they should increase their activities of gemilas chasadim, The report said that he added verbally that whoever increases their giving of tzedaka has nothing to fear and will be saved that whoever gives tzedaka will be spared .JPG)

Deletei think teh question is when we in lakewood are told by those we consider gedolim that something is our mesorah as far as hishtadlus etc. OR that something is not our mesorah (think march on washington). the fact of the matter is although it's in the shulchan aruch most don't say it (my guess on a daily basis anyway). so are we in fact changing our mesorah?

Here they go again belittling a fellow because he asks a question is this our mesorah. Did it ever dawn on you that there is a reason why yeshivos don’t say korbonos. Did you ever bother finding out when the saying of korbonos stoped even though is brought down in Tur and the mekor is from the geoinim. There is an issue of bitul toireh which was paramount in litvishe yeshivos starting from volozin . Not everyone is a boki in kodshim like you and they just ramble with out understanding but again since u r makpid in every seif in shulchan aruch and remo who am i to question you
