The tuition relief is not happening in the near future and the self appointed askanim know that. They are fooling the olam with fakers to get the votes taking advantage of naive youngeleit who have no access to any information. The very same guys that are screaming days Torah have mocked the Roshei yeshiva behind closed doors.

Very possible Rav Yitzchok was not aware of what Rav Elya Ber told his talmidim but the fact remains that he told them in Yiddish that he is retracting
DeleteI'm no Schnall supporter but if Rav Elya Ber really retracted why doesn't he do so in a verifiable way? Anyone can just as easily make up that . I know Schnall and I know that he really did not want to run becuase of the issues being brought up here, but last summer when Rav Bergman was here for Aderei Torah, despite sitting Shiva he called Schnall to convince him to run. When he saw Schnall was still hesitant he told him "The amount of harbotzas torah you can doing by running for assembly as a Democrat is so great, that I take 100% on my achrius anything that goes with it" Had I not explicitly said that I made this up, there would be those who would believe it. Becuase they want to. Why are claims that REB retracted different?
