Without even making the peaceful and diplomatic efforts the Zionists made to reach that goal. I grew up in a very anti-Zionist background. The two things that changed my haskafa were (1) realizing that we can't look at the situation today as if is the exact same as it was seventy years ago and (2)seeing how the group I used to identify with was becoming increasingly radical.
