  1. Why did you link to the fake news about Grey Goose instead of linking to the CRC website? https://consumer.crckosher.org/alerts/grey-goose/

  2. The Daycamp prices are highway robbery!!! Lakewood has the highest Daycamp prices then all other Jewish communities like Brooklyn, and Monsey. They should all be boycotted!! Almost none of them returned any money to parents by Covid, in the name of anonymous Rabbis. There is no justifiable reason for the prices they ask!!

    1. As I commented yesterday regarding Borsalino. If you can't afford something don't pay for it. Those who can and want to should. A boycott is not when you don't buy something because you cant afford it.
It's one thing if we're talking about yeshivos, but day camp believe it or not is not a necessity. If its highway robbery there is nothing forcing you to pay for it.
Our community unfortunately has the mentality that no matter your income everyone should be on equal footing. Look at the people with decent incomes still going into debt for chasunos.
If everyone would spend within their means then the laws of supply and demand would apply in Lakewood as well. That would include no-frills day camps with cheaper prices.

    2. Camps are not optional if you want healthy children that are socially integrated. I guess the same can be said for wearing Kova instead of a Borsalino.

    3. Actually, if you buy your prospective son-in-law a non-Borsalino, the shidduch is cancelled.

    4. Our community attitude ironically of everybody getting the same things comes from a healthy place actually
A supposed "we're all this together"

Similar to the old shared multi family gemachim
Those dirty feinschmeke parents who force up the ante for everybody else should be stepped on as dirt.

    5. huh? who buys their "prospective son-in-law" a hat? nice try to sound relevant but that was a big fail.

  3. Do day camps agree on pricing together? How do they all have similar pricing? I smell a cartel.

  10. I think Deputy Millers comments are indicative of how of touch he is. the residents of this city get exactly O% input on who is appointed mayor and deputy mayor. in fact, i think the fact that he was reinstalled means he has been brown nosing to the right people.
