  1. If all those from Brooklyn would learn how to use a turn signal, maybe the accident rate would drop

    1. Not sure why people are always commenting blaming this on Brooklyn people. People born and raised in Lakewood don't signal just as much if not more than Brooklyners.

    2. Another idiot with a stupid comment. This anti-Brooklyn needs to stop. R' Aaron Kotler lived in Brooklyn, all of Lakewood is originally Brooklyn. Maybe if people drove more courteously and less aggressively this would not be happening. The rates of accidents are higher in Lakewood than in Brooklyn, per 1000 cars on the road. The more yeshivish the driver, the greater the aggression, cutting off, riding on shoulder, and turning way after the light turns. As someone who's lived here 45+years, it's been a horrible progression of aggression and disregard to others. Maybe they are using the excuse of bitul torah to justify it?

    3. All are originally ?!

    4. due gets mad about stereotyping brooklyn people then goes on to stereotype "yeshivish" drivers. what a hypocrite. Of course, he is lying when he says that he's lived here for 45 years. probably moved here from brooklyn last week.

    1. I don't buy Borsalino. You don't have to either. That's not a boycott. That's just buying cheaper as many people should learn to do.

  5. Wonder if they will downsize the park like they did to Sunset park? Where did the perfect working playground that was by Sunset go? Was a totally unnecessary downgrade by the township!

    1. Then why do the people keep voting him into office?

    2. The people are clueless and taken advantage of told who to vote for and they follow like sheep. Everyone else either moved out or gave up. This is a dictatorship by the hands of a few who are using the voters for their own gain

    3. Ditto.

This town will be used for reference in the future. If some people will be still surprised how fascism, communism, or other forms of gov't that officially termed themselves Democracy, carried on happily with seeming public approval

    4. Mr. Cohen: You never fail to impress with your high level of genius. David French level stuff.

    5. David French is a self adulating turncoat, all for a bowl of (libertarian) lentils or pot of libertarian gold at the end of the apt contemporary metaphorical rainbow. Any comparison as such therefore would be in gross negligent error.

Cue the conservative doyen Russell Kirk:"venture to suggest that libertarianism, properly understood, is as alien to real American conservatism as is communism,” he wrote. The conservative “is suspicious of any ideology that would rule us by a single abstract principle, whether that principle is ‘equality’ or ‘liberty’ or ‘social justice’ or " 'MAGA'

  7. 4wheeldrive, Sorry but everything undesirable in Lakewood comes from Brooklyn, the idea that it's a mechaya to have attached housing, and live on each other's heads, to be rude, suspect anyone you don't know as being from the moon, fress out at restaurants daily and pày by food stamps, eat like a pig, blow your nose in the shower, etc etc

  8. Generally when I see a driver not signaling or doing some other dangerous/annoying driving (like speeding up and trying to make a light or turning LEFT more than 5 seconds after the light turned RED), I can virtually GUARANTEE that it's someone with a NY license plate (or a PA license plate) !!!!!
(It is actually ILLEGAL to have a vehicle registered in a state different than the one you live in.)

    1. Mainly because Queens appears to be a maze with no actual solution, designed by drunk planners wondering if anyone would catch on.
