  2. Why is a tree falling right after people walk by a Nes? Was there a reason it was supposed to fall three seconds earlier that it was held up by a nes? They say that someone in a similar situation of a major sakana starting right after he passed by safely, asked Rav Moshe Bick if he should bentch gomel and was told not to because he was never in an actual sakana. He gave a moshel that his wife hung up his pants on a clothesline four stories high and the pants fell off. Had he been in them he would have died. But at the time of the fall he wasn't...

    1. I don't get the tzushtell. There is inherently no sakana from pants falling off a cloth line because there is no potential damage to its owner. There is a sakana from walking under a tree about to fall. Even if the person doing so is unaware of it. The Gemora very clearly says that walking under a leaning wall takes away a person zchuyos because he needs them to protect himself.

  4. Do Public School students also have to pay for courtesy bussing or only “taxing” the community?

    1. They don't pay, the township gives over a million of tax dollars to the Boe annualy to cover the cost for public ckuryesy while Orthodox private have to pay on their own

    2. Why is it they pass out tax abatements to their friends without absolutely any explanation if they stopped the tax abatements they would have more than enough money to cover courtesy busing

      Delete
    3. Tax abatements are from the municipal budget. Bussing is from school district budget. No relation between the two

    4. but the town is using municipal budget money to pay for courtesy school district busing

  13. America was duped.

The English prime minister, and the French president, and also the King, when Trump goes to London, are going to congratulate and placate him. They’re going to say, Mr. President, we’ll give you Russia. America can do all the business In Russia that you want. And we’ll send troops to Ukraine (on the Russian border knowing that it is the biggest market for technology and weapons).

    The economics?

THEY will make trillions of dollars that would have gone to American industry. So even if America wins on this, we ultimately lose.

This is a once in a century, or two, realignment of power. Pretty exciting time. Even more exciting than the 90s when Communism fell.

It will be America against China, and Europe against Russia. Kind of like the alignment of the world in the 300s. Two Senior Roman Emperors, and Two Juniors Emperors, making four geographic powers.

    1. How comes this "excitement" didn't happen 6 weeks ago? You know, while the dementians and hussainians were in the white house?

Seems clear that Trump won this one.

    2. YOu decided that he won before anything happened, so that is not much of an opinion

      Delete
    3. Answer is because America got duped. Nothing could have been more fortunate to either Russia or Europe or both. No one could have even planned it. We essentially transferred a good deal of American power across the sea to others.

  15. Sure Trump has won. There will be businesses in Russia. The Europeans will pay for arms and send troops to Ukraine. And he will get the mineral. But what he set in motion is historic.

There also is going to be an arms race on a 20th century scale if not greater. And the Baltic States will need nukes, and who is going to stop them? England or France? Germany? Those countries will build up their navies. The need the Baltics to stop Russia. (We all know the Red Army is not going to plow into Poland or some other non-Soviet country. They rot the countries out from within.)

We are entering a new world order and that is not in the interests of the United States to change even if Trump gets his deal. He will. They all are coming back to Washington with a plan. But it is all lip service. Everyone knows that America has been weakened.

Who ever thought that America would lose its vast power in our lifetimes? Crazy generation.

Well so be it, there are now four powers, Europe, Russia, China and America, and no undisputed leader, although America, everyone knows, is the strongest. There will be challengers.

BTW It was Reagan that got rid of the nukes in Europe. That will come to end. We are going to spend more money, everyone will, on nukes and weapons, than economic benefits. And with Russia breaking the nukes in space treaty, we got a whole new battlefield. Maybe nukes in Europe will keep the peace. Oppenheimer thought there will not be WWIII because of nukes.

All these processes were swiftly happening anyway due to West moral internal decline. If anything,POTUS & more so Vance, has done them a major favor through forcing them to finally confront reality. Of their own hedonist making. Now they must deal with it. To their distaste.
