Israel At War motzei Shabbos Vayakhel

Israel at war day 533

- Sirens in Yerushalayim and Bet Shemesh early this morning from a incoming ballistic missle from Yemen. IDF says it was successfully intercepted.

- Rockets fired at Metula in the North - Israel struck 50+ Hezbollah targets all over Lebanon in response

- Heavy strikes in Gaza with 100+ terrorists eliminated

- Hamas shows no flexibility in changing their position and the IDF says the pressure will increase

-Hamas leader Salah al-Bardaweel and his wife were killed in an Israeli airstrike overnight in Khan Younis, according to Palestinian media.

- Political-Security cabinet Ministers were presented with plans to continue the logistical blockade of Gaza and to intensify military pressure on Hams, with the aim of bringing about the release of hostages and meeting all the goals of the war.

- New Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir on Saturday announced that he had appointed an external panel of former senior officers to evaluate the military’s probes into Hamas’s October 7, 2023, onslaught, and oversee implementation of the findings.  The IDF’s October 7 investigations were led by former chief of staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi. Upon entering the role earlier this month, Zamir said he would appoint an external panel to look into those probes.  The move was made by Zamir out of “the IDF’s deep commitment to processes of learning, streamlining and improvement, especially during the war, and for an analysis and examination of the operational, professional and organizational insights,” the military said in a statement Saturday.
