Clarification on LSTA Registration:
ReplyDeleteIt appears the LSTA is circulating misleading information, creating confusion for schools. Please be aware of the following facts:
No actual deadline: LSTA hours will continue at least until Wednesday of this week, despite claims otherwise.
Inflated numbers: They repeatedly add students, particularly 8th-grade girls, who haven't yet been placed.
Misinformation: Contrary to their statements, there is no legal requirement mandating that the registration process occur online.
Ongoing difficulties: They face significant operational issues but refuse to acknowledge them publicly.
Administrative burden: Schools are experiencing considerable frustration and difficulties retrieving accurate student information.
Had they continued the process the way it was till now, any school could've had 85% paperwork done in the beginning of this year. Only changes and addition would need more administrative work now.
DeleteNow with the unnecessary portal burden it's quite different.
That's all besides all the issues with service and lack thereof.
I dont think that hanging effigies in shul is appropriate. For many reasons. Mainly because it is scary for kids! It's also inappropriate for us to so this in golus.
ReplyDeleteMainly because of mora mikdash - מורא מקדש
DeleteWhat has been done all the years or part (the part that clever jews) in Golus?
DeleteKids love it
DeleteThis is a shul that caters to all ages -- little kids (rav gives each child a Bamba at every tfilla.). Chulent Thurs and motzei Shabbat avos ubanim for older kids. Two kollels plus early morning dirshu kollel, with matan schara betzida.
It used to be the treife place. New town this is.
DeleteI have to swallow my pride solely for the kids. Michael offered to allow Dr. Winters to certify aa to what is currently going on with the DOE so that we can amend the record. As much as I do not like her for keeping me down the company ladder (and him), she was our best witness in 2018 and this litigation is not about me, at least to the extend that I get any hana'ah. It is about me in that I lost my job and have to drive 140 miles a day to my new place. And I guarantee I will move up the ladder over there.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think that if I stayed under the radar, played low IQ, zero amount of leadership, I would have been assistant superintendent. also, that ship already left. Even when the formula is fixes, ns hopefully the debt forgiven, I am out of the district and don't owe her, Michael, the school bosses or the Vaad anything.
Dr. Winters paid over $200,000 by the people of Lakewood. It is not on me. I will not owe her anything for doing the certification. It is her job and the job of Michael getting paid a million dollars a year to do want is in the interest of Lakewood. Oral Argument is April 8. It will be the most important day in NJ this century. Lakewood's future as a home to the rabbim will be decided. AL
Mr. Lang,
DeleteFor someone claiming it's not about himself, why are you busy with your personal grievances and personal aspirations? It makes it sound as if you're using all this for personal revenge and growth. That's worse than what you're accusing the others of doing.
Excuse your impudence
DeleteMr.Lang put himself out & suffered for your sakes. He is just wishes to get a bit a closure.Which he richly deserves
YU Basketball team of the misyavnim of 5785. How low are steeping!
ReplyDeleteStupid Canadians,eh?
ReplyDeleteThey rally around the government because of the tariff right. 25%, right?
Meanwhile these same Liberals are going to increase the carbon tax by 23% on April 1
On top of that the tariffs will be actually better for the blue collar Canadian as well.
As it will finally weaken the sad domination of the big MNCs ( Jewish ties inclusive)
Problem is the avg.canadian has been for so long under the thumb of those same Cs, they Stockholm Syndrome parrot their tormentors. Even though against their own wellbeing
Correct spelling is ecstatic, not extatic. Although nowadays we can also be eggstatic about the new Justice Dept. investigation.
ReplyDeleteYou bet I want closure. I want this to end. I no longer work for the school district, I have no responsibility to it, and no stake in it. I am only continuing because of great men like Rabbi Rothschild Tz"l, Rabbi Levin shilta, and Professor Tractenberg ad maeh v'esrim. I am not doing it for Lakewood anymore. Sure when I worked for Lakewood I did it for the organization and perhaps also for a tiny paranasa so I can put food on the table. The people have chosen the BOE, Ms. Winters, and Michael, over the billions of dollars of fixing the formula, just so this or that mosad that they send their kids to can bend the law a tiny bit, nothing explicitly illegal, for a gain of $10,000 or some other junior league sum of money, that they think they would not get if the administration were to change. This is fine with me, just as long as they never ask me for anything. I will do my job, put the public interest before my own, and try to physically stay out of town as much as I can. I don't want revenge, I just want the case to end and let all the avaricious back slappers fight over the proceeds. I never wanted money. There is a difference between wanting money and wanting a respectable parnasa of perhaps $100,000 or more and a job fitting for one's intelligence and ability. I worked there for 21 years and have nothing as a result, no retirement, no savings, nothing.
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to get admitted n to the Texas bar without exam. I want to practice drill, baby, drill law. I need five years in another state that most my working hours were law. Problem is the Texas bar said that I teach more hours than practice law. I figured that I might turn some of those district hours into law hours. I heard Michael said he can help. Thank you but no. Sonei matnos t'chye. I think he means well by that but I will not talk to him or anyone else in Lakewood with negious in what is happening. The pyramid scheme that has kept this town afloat for a decade has sunk..
