  1. Beware Lakewood residents getting used as pawns for democrat primary election by converting registered Republicans to become democrats
Gottheimer is behind in the democratic field and he has to come up with votes to survive the primary. the strategy is to use lakewood voters by turning them democrats to help him compete in the primary.
This can backfire if Gottheimer is forced out and the next dem candidate will owe nothing to Lakewood
Paid off Aakanim playing dangerous games with the frum community in New Jersey

    1. It can also back fire If we end up having an ultra liberal baraka as the next governor. Stupid commenters playing dangerous games with the lakewood community.

    2. Gottheimer is way behind and low polling there's no shot of turning lakewood votes for him in a primary. All you are doing is raitzing uhn leading candidates.
We never get involved in primary governor elections. Let it play itself out and focus on the general.

What did Murphy do for Lakewood besides for going after frum yiddin during covid? Absolutely nothing

What did Democrat Avi Schnall do?
Nothing but empty promises about tuition
      Stop falling for lying democrats

    3. Right, ultra liberals are dangerous for the community.
But that ultra conservative Christie ym"sh, who declared war on the community and made many people suffer, he was the great guy.

      Delete
    4. Exactly: The vaad and askanim raitzed uhn Christie when they took a dangerous gamble and refused to meet with him and they went all in to endorse Corzine who promised them whatever it was. In the end corzine lost and Christie won did he take nekama? Maybe but that's exactly the point we don't get involved in internal democrat primary and burn our bridges.
If Baraka wins over Ciattarelli and Lakewood didn't vote for Baraka, at least he knows that lkwd is naturally rwpuvk but if you support Gittheimer against Baraka or Fulop in a primary and one of them goes on to win,we are in a much worse position.
We should stay out of the primary race

    5. The main thing is to not vote with the Vaad to dimnidh their influence, this way we can make room for another group that actually represents the people.

      Delete
    6. Wrong. You need two groups so they can compete for Lakewood office. Would be nice to have a free press. Some reporters out there are good but the small town news media in Lakewood has failed to hold those in power accountable. Change will come.

    7. "Change will come" has failed till now. When?

    8. April 8 is the start. A month later will be the revolution. Next November will be the inauguration. And if the oilam is still to lazy, scared or whatever it was that made it complacent and shirk from the duty of citizenship, then maybe the effort was futile to begin with. I am confident that is not the case.

    1. Could be the z'thus of the oilam coming down all at once. We will be in Court on April 8 to determine if the formula has to be fixed. This is big stuff. Gosh I do not like this town. Why in the world didn't the district stand with me? Now I have to drive 140 miles a day. At least I make $30,000 more than I did in Lakewood but how much was I worth to the organization? $10 billion? Hey, the job will be done either way so I guess I did not deserve a promotion. Mark my words, I will get a promotion in my new school district within two years even without getting them $10 billion.

    2. I want to add that I am not avaricious. A man has a right to a parnasa if he brings value to his company. All I wanted was to be an executive (administrator) in the district making a normal administrative salary. My father was an executive with Shell Oil and ran the pipelines (the largest pipeline network in the world). 1990 the year of his retirement, the oil companies made so little money but Shell posted $90 million in profits because he sold a pipeline for $90 million. America got its oil efficiently without interruption except during the 1973 and 1979 embargo. . None of us chased after money but a man deserves to put food on his table if he produces and not kept at the bottom making $60,000 a year particularly when the BOE is paying their lawyer a million a year. It is the fault of(beside my own) of the people of Lakewood for allowing others to decide their vote. There are at least 25 administrators are making six digits. This is not avarice but the American way. You move up if you enhance the bottom line, put in the years, get the education, show leadership. Not in Lakewood.

    3. Bottom line.
Will the LSTA still be one big fraud and scam that will be hike up fees every year on top of our tuition (while the public school kids don't need to pay a penny)??
Will a few "askanim" continue to become rich while providing far less than they were contracted to do??

    4. Thank you Mr. Lang for being transparent about your own, personal grievances.

    5. It is all up to you. It is like when they asked Franklin what kind of government he gave America under the new Constitution, and he said, "A republic, if you can keep it." It does no good to have transparency, open meetings and OPRA it the people do not stand up for their rights. Same with a fixed funding formula and a reset back to solvency. Will it endure? It is all up to you. There will be no great public works, no financial stability, and diminished potential for prosperity for our posterity as long as we do not do commit to the duties of citizenship, which means that the majority of individuals needs to make their own decisions at the polls.

    6. I do not want restitution and do not want my old job back, that ship has long since sailed, and it would be mere avarice to return to the district now that I am free from the clutches of those who have broken the public trust. I have a new place and a new start. It won't take me long to move up the ladder. However, I will not relent and will only stop reminding the oilam of my grievances against Lakewood when it has government of, by, and most importantly, for, the people. People need to know that their apathy and unwillingness to participate in public affairs has real world consequences.

  5. The askonim so far said vote for BOE and we are millions in debt. They also saisd to vote for the perpetual township committe memebers inclding the latest lady who nobody even knows that she is on the committee. We all know how the committee has made Lakewood into a chillul hashem with all the overdevelopment and lack of infrastructure.
