Israel At War Monday March 10

 Israel at war Day 521

- Steve Witkoff: For a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hams to move forward, Hams must disarm completely and leave Gaza. "Hams has “no alternative” but to disarm and exit the Gaza Strip, if they do, “all things are on the table for a negotiated peace.”

- IDF is currently striking north of Daraa in Syria. Targets: former Assad army outposts and tanks that have not yet been destroyed, and the rebels are trying to take over.

- Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi: We are committed to our position regarding the ultimatum we set for Israel regarding the resumption of aid to the Gaza Strip (Wednesday). Our forces are ready to carry out operations. Military measures will be carried out from the moment the deadline expires - if the aid does not enter the Gaza Strip

- Hundreds of Pro-Palestine protesters gather in Federal Plaza in NYC to protest against ICE arrest of Columbia University former student Mahmoud Khalil.

- Qatar confirms that Hamas rejected the "partial solutions" presented by Trump envoy Adam Boehler in their first conversation. In subsequent talks, Hamas proposed an agreement that included a ceasefire of more than 10 years and clarified that it would not give up all its weapons in any case.

-Israeli Cabinet ministers criticized Adam Boehler’s  statements and direct contacts with Hams, calling them "a contradicting message to Hams that does not benefit Israel

- Israel was set to dispatch a delegation to Doha on Monday for a fresh round of talks on extending the fragile ceasefire in Gaza, after cutting off aid to the Strip in a bid to pressure  Hamas. White House envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to travel to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, and then to the Qatari capital on Wednesday, as talks were taking place,

- Deir al-Balah Municipality (Central Gaza Strip): “Due to the Israeli power cut, the southern desalination plant of the central Gaza Strip camps has stopped working.  As a result, there is a 70% decrease in the water supply for daily consumption of the residents of Deir
Al Balah

- Direct talks between US President Donald Trump’s Envoy for Hostages, Adam Boehler, and Hamas are an “utter mistake,” Finance Minister Bezalel Smotirch said in an interview on KAN Radio on Monday morning.
According to Smotrich, Boehler had “acted on his own accord” in order to free the captive soldier Idan Alexander, who is a US citizen. Boehler was acting “naively”, and the plan he proposed in Hamas’s name, whereby the organization agreed to disarm and return all hostages in return for a 5-10 year ceasefire, was “utter nonsense,” he said. Smotrich noted Boehler’s post on X on Sunday night clarifying that Hamas were “BY DEFINITION BAD people”
