 The Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of America has issued a statement designating tomorrow, Ta’anis Esther, as a Yom Tefila with special focus on Giyus bnei yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel the hostages in Gaza held by Hamas and the current Matzav in EY.

Agudath Israel added "We take this opportunity as well to request that you offer special tefilos on behalf of Shmuel ben Ita Etil, Rosh Yeshivas Philadelphia, Chaver Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah, Horav Shmuel Kamenetsky shlita. We are told that the Rosh Hayeshiva’s condition has improved, but that he still needs our tefilos. May he have a refuah shleimah b’karov."
