Again Central Avenue in Lakewood is a parking lot during the morning commute while township committee members are not seen or heard from as they hide from the public.
Submitted: Tuesday morning central ave insane traffic. Where is Ray Coles Menashe Miller or Meir Lichtenstein??? Why is there construction during peak rush hour?? Causing so much lost time at work and school for everyone. Time for change get rid of those that destroy our lives!!!
Gridlock traffic along Central Avenue has become a daily issue, with construction work starting before 10:00 a.m. during the peak morning commute hours. This has resulted in significant delays of up to 45 minutes, causing residents to miss work, students to be late for yeshiva, and children arriving late to school. Despite numerous complaints from the community, township officials have not taken any action to address the problem. Instead, they have shifted the blame to county and state authorities, refusing to acknowledge their responsibility in managing the situation. This ongoing disruption is causing considerable frustration among local residents, who feel their concerns are being ignored by the very officials they rely on to address these issues.
Can you please post this in Lakewood Shopper instead of here? Getting the word out will help change our voting patterns next time around. Perhaps the community will come to realize they shouldn't blindly trust the vaad endorsements....
ReplyDeleteBacked up to the kiruv center
ReplyDeleteChabad or Bmg? Oh right they're right near each other, it's a kiruv campus
DeleteSo what's gonna happen tomorrow??? The same old thing??? This can't go on?
ReplyDeletePlease post the phone #'s of the people in charge so we can all call them today
ReplyDeleteLakewooders love traffic—they even named a street after the engineer who repeatedly testified that all this development wouldn’t cause additional congestion, that there’s plenty of parking, and so on.
ReplyDeleteAnd clearly, the community agrees, because they keep voting in the same people who endorse it all.
It’s too late for Lakewood, but Jackson, Howell, Toms River, Brick, and beyond—beware. You’re next.
Why is there no outrage video from Avi Schnall he knows how to post them when it's about others that are not his buddies like he did to JCPL now that it's the township he's silent.
ReplyDeleteThe vaad loves traffic it's a sign of life and prosperity it brings alot of green to those who made it happen
ReplyDeleteAnon 7:42,
DeleteThanks. At least someone finally understands me!
It's just a sign of a robust vibrant community!
DeleteIt just took me an hour and a half to go down central. From 9:30-10:50. This is insanity
ReplyDeletelakewood is how an ir torah run by the frum results, now I understand why the Zionists dont want a frum government.
ReplyDeleteMight be one of the reasons (had you been there).
DeleteThe paid and bought off media is complicit in covering up for the corrupt reckless politicians
ReplyDeleteThe deep state is real
They could care less about quality of life or bittul Torah and agmas nefesh to thousands of yiddin on a daily basis
Yet show their chazer feesel how good they are with fake PR articles and photo ops.we are in Galus fun unzereh.
They keep lying and fooling us to enrich themselves and stay in power
Such disgust behavior
Not one mature Rav can get up publicly and call out what is happening to local residents daily?
No one feels accountable as thousands of kollel youngeleit sit for 2 hours in traffic?
They came down strong against hatzolas nefashos but the daily suffering of tens of thousands don't seem to bother anyone.
They went all out for the free tuition hoax but now crickets
Wouldn't it be faster to drive surrounding lakewood to get to other end
ReplyDeleteDetour through surrounding towns, show some life there too.

Come move out to me neighborhood at the Toms River/Brick border. Commute to yeshiva or work in Lakewood is quicker and no traffic!
ReplyDeleteWho has the achrayus of all this bittul Torah???????
ReplyDeleteThe ones who tell us who to vote for or the people in office.?
are you aware that you don't have to learn in BMG? i'm sure there's a shul in your neighborhood that you can learn in.
DeleteKeep on voting hr same people back into office because when election day comes the VAAD puts on a good PR show with raaabonim endorsing cadidates who will keep the traffic the same or worse
ReplyDeleteTraffic again all over central and Miller with detours everywhere. Making everyone nuts not right. This needs to end
ReplyDeleteThis is why we need to FIX THE FORMULA
