Talmidei Chachomim in Suppprt Of R' Langs BOE Choice

Bnai Yeshiva are true-blue, unconstrained by politics, business, or party line. They are emmesdik talmidim of gedolai hadoros past and present.  Harav Eliyohu Levin Shlita, Rav Meir Eisemann, and other Talmidei Chachomim signed letters urging the Lakewood Kehilla to support R' Aron Lang's unwavering efforts to bring tax relief and a fixed funding formula to Lakewood - by voting for Board of Education candidates Avrohom Schubert, Eli Eisenbach, and Yoni Morgenstern.
Video below details the connection to the Talmidei chachomim

  1. It is so pashut that it is damaging to the public interest when politicians trying to find a political solution do not talk to, l'mashul, their lawyer. In fact, the worse part of lawyering, are wild clients that don't talk to you before they do something. This is a sure recipe for losing. In the biggest case in NJ in the 21st century, that is exactly what is happening.

How do we raise money? If we can send out a mailing, we would get 90% of the vote. There is no s'vara, logic, or explanation supporting the other side. But we are limited to the paltry amount we raise online. Money is speech. (Buckley v. Valeo, 1976).

  2. Consider that if your taxes doubled to cover the extra $100 million a year caused by the BOE annual deficit, that would be close to $1,000 a month extra for most Lakewood taxpayers. So wouldn't it make sense to donate now as a one-shot investment?

I am confident that if we reached the majority of people in Lakewood, we would win because I cannot imagine anyone who knows what is at stake would vote differently.

  3. I must say that we are forging ahead no matter what happens on Tuesday. We will have to win in court and not be distracted by all the pests doing stuff to undermine the cause. They never will. Just aggravation, more work, delay. It would be nice to have power-brokers and people in government, who know the facts, law and numbers, that communicate with you to IY"H strategically solve Lakewood's most pressing issue.

The z'chus ha'rabbim caused the matter to slowly move closer and closer to the Supreme Court. Even if the bosses tried to solve the problem behind our back, unless it is the correct solution, it doesn't have to be perfect but enough state aid, the court won't buy it and it will be futile. 5. Does anyone wonder why is the vaad opposed to this campaign? Why push an assemblyman who is saying maybe in 10 years from now he can maybe accomplish something (He can't) this campaign will get results ASAP. Why won't they support this campaign?? The vaad has self interests they do not care about the people. Wake up vote your conceince do not be a sheep!
