  1. We now have the American RY and Israeli RY telling the bochrim not to go to ey - now we just need them to go dating - no need to cancel 12th grade, get rid of the freezer etc.

There's a time for humor, and this is not it. Don't turn this into a joke.

And if this is serious....... ה' ירחם

    2. There are many messages you can take out of every situation- bochrim being forced to remain in America - something that a couple of months ago was part of the talk “eliminate ey” let them go after their wedding etc. or they shouldn’t be going so late etc. and now having Hashem stopping the bochrim from going is something to point out…

    1. There were other versions of this tfillah, but almost all of them refer to the "machteret".

There were plenty of charedim serving in the various (informal) armies, especially in Etzel and of course Lehi. Palmach was basically kibbutznikim who didn't take highly to dusim.

      And of course, in Cafrisin.

Tzahal did not exist till late summer or even till Rosh Hashanah time.

    2. What a disgusting thing to say!

Do we only daven for Charedim? DO we not care about every Yid?

Then name Tzahal in the tfillah.
      And send charedim to giyus.

  4. Typical Israel. To beg for help
-although such a capable state should able to take care these situations
    Then
    a. they could pacify themselves afterward
that the issue at hand can't be treated as so Jewish since hey, even secular goyim are in our league with us
b .We have ostensibly be [sic] coerced to grant concessions & to moderate our claims since those outsiders from their vantage are demanding that

    Keep the US away

    1. Can you rewrite your comment in English.

    2. (Translated)
It is typical of Israel to ask for aid despite being capable enough to handle things themselves.
It is politically advantageous for Israel to get help from other countries for two reasons:
      1. They can disguise the "Jewish" nature of the conflict, since secular nations took part.
      2. They can excuse any compromises and concessions as a result of foreign intervention.

    3. Translating it backwards
      Here's a shorthand:
Israel i.e the inside permanent clique
      politically advantageous i.e. internally
that is, of the purpose to retain the previous trajectory of secularization & further to a less unapologetic muscular people that was stunned into derailment

  5. Just as ppl write about the few shining moments when a single person was saved although 1400 others died. You could point out that it's a good time to work on the Shiduch crisis

    1. It shows the rotteness of a person when they express themselves in a way that's all about them being right, at other people's expense.

המתכבד בקלון חברו אין לו חלק לעולם הבא

People who are simply trying to do Hashem's Will don't make it about themselves or themselves being right.

If a person uses horrendous tragedy to promote themselves and their shita, they are rotten.

If a person uses a dangerous עת צרה to promote themselves and their shita, they are rotten.

    2. Are you allowed to point out how some settlements were saved due to their entrances being blocked for shmiras shabbos? Are you only able to hear nice fluffy stories? Hashem is very capable and many things can be happening when a Tzarah is taking place.
