  1. The Lakewood shopper newspaper has flipped and says going forward it will support Avi Schnall campaign in the name of achdus and unity The best thing for achdus and unity would be if everyone just ignored the Scnall campaign.

  2. Unprecedented what is going on on Lakewood to silence any opposition a intimidation campaign never seen before with bullying threats deception forcing rabbonim to go against everything they preached all their lives
This is what happens when a campaign that can not sell its own product has resorted to backroom deals and plotting how are we going to force and fool everyone to vote
How are we going to intimidate any potential opposition

Not one coherent response to any serious issues that were brought up by people.
People who spoke privately tobl tabbonim were told there's nothing we can do they are fearful and scared
Shame on us that the leading rabbonim Roshei yeshiva and lakewood residents
Are getting bullied and forced into a uncomfortable position.

    3. Yeshaya 1:23

A couple decades ago many of us innocents allowed ourselves to follow instructions putting Menashe Miller in last second to avoid the "terrible" "rasha" Bill Hobday who would "horribly damage our institutions
      Fool you once..
      Fool you twice..

  3. Did Rabbi Shnall have anything to do with the return of the Vatican artifacts to Jewish hands?
It is hardly a coincidence that just when he is running for office, the Vatican changes their stand.

    1. Of course it was only because of Schnall. If he wins we are going to see a widened route 9 , vouchers, lower real estate taxes, vastly increased and improved services, no more congestion and so much more .All on day one.

    2. It's not about the candidate who was put up it's about the big money special interests pushing this and their team of askanaim loyalists who are carrying out the orders

  5. The very fact that the democrats are mimicking the adirei hatorah fundraising tactics taking out ads in all back pages and billboarfs and working within every development in Lakewood meeting with all neighborhood askanim photo ops with every Rav and an aggressive campaign with igud hamosdos shows they have no confidence in the Lakewood community voting for them.
The olam should hold strong in your beliefs and do what our parents and rebbeim taught us

    1. I sure hope that you're advising people to seek out their rabbeim's and parent's advice now. You're certainly not suggesting that they accept your advice to not support

    2. You are wrong about daas Torah supporting him. It is corporate leadership that supports him. The Roshei Yeshiva are in the know. Why don't you talk to them?

  7. 18A:7A-56 : "The advance State aid payment shall be repaid by the school district through automatic reductions in the State aid provided to the school district in subsequent years. The term of the repayment shall not exceed 10 years, but may be for a shorter term as determined by the State Treasurer."

We don't know, nobody knows, what is going to happen when our payments exceed out state aid. It will happen in a year or two. It is not clear by the statute that the state will be able to continue to loan Lakewood money. It either will have to take over the district, abolish it, recommend to the legislature a massive tax increase, or change the law. No one knows. Not even the experts.

We will soon find out because the BOE is advertising that they improved education. This is what the governor is also saying. There are no legal ground to force the state to fix the formula because education has improved. It hasn't.
