-IDF in gaza reports of heavy fire exchanges between soldiers and hamas terrorists in the Sajaya neighborhood 

- A senior Hamas official told The Associated Press on Thursday that the Palestinian group had expected stronger intervention from we need more in order to stop the aggression on Gaza … We expect more.”

- The White House denounced 'antisemitic messages being conveyed on college campuses' in a statement Thursday, condemning students groups that have praised Hamas’ attack on Israel or 'call for the annihilation of the state of Israel.'"

- Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder says that approximately 900 US troops are either in or on their way to the Middle East — but not Israel — as part of “efforts to deter a broader conflict and further bolster us force protection capabilities.”

- Heavy rocket fire targets central Israel sirens sound in Bnei Brak
- A rocket landed  near a highway near Rehovot in central Israel, setting fire to a utility pole.
Medics say there are no physical injuries.

- IDF  killed five senior hamas  commanders today with airstrikes 
- Defense Minister Yoav Gallant reiterated that a ground operation was looming and vowed to win the war, asserting that the country’s next 75 years largely depend on it.

- IDF goes in again with a ground incursion into Gaza

- Israel criticizes Russia for inviting Hamas Delegation

- The Iranian Foreign Minister: "Hamas is ready to release all the abductees in exchange for the release of 6,000 security prisoners."

- Nine Arab countries - Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE - issue joint statement condemning the targeting of civilians and violations of international law in Gaza, adding that self-defence does not justify neglecting the rights of Palestinians.

- 19 American service members stationed in Iraq and Syria have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injury after rocket and drone attacks from Iran-backed militants last week, according to a Defense Department official.

- IDF killed the Deputy Head of Hamas’ Intelligence Directorate Shadi Barud, who was responsible for planning the October 7th massacre together with chief terrorist Yahya Sinwar.

- Rocket barrage targets Tel Aviv area as IDF steps up strikes on Hamas sites in Gaza

- Hamas delegation travels to Russia to consult about Gaza with Iranian and Russian officials

-The IDF deployed a limited ground incursion into Gaza overnight, sending infantry forces and tanks up to a kilometer into the northern part of the Strip, preparing the border area for the “next stages of the war,”The “targeted raid” appeared to be the most significant ground offensive since war broke out earlier this month, as the IDF prepares a full-scale invasion to eliminate the Hamas terror group that rules the Strip.

- Israel will use novel “sponge bombs” as it fights through the network of Hamas tunnels under Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has been testing the chemical bombs, which contain no explosives but are used to seal off gaps or tunnel entrances from which fighters may emerge.

-Qatar says any deal to free hostages would not happen unless there's a ceasefire 

- Man arrested by California police after breaking into a Jewish home in Los Angeles and threatening to kill the occupants. The suspect, Daniel Garcia, who was wearing only underwear, kicked in the home’s back door, and was heard yelling “Free Palestine” and “Kill Jews”, per the LAPD. The home invasion occurred at approximately 5AM; the incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
