  2. I don't know what FAA wants.
As an Orchos Chaim parent, I can tell you that we have the same bussing problems as everyone else.

The 'incorporators in chief' did not help their own mosdos.

    2. Question: Will the BOE hear your complaints about the LSTA? It is very important to know the extent of their involvement and your right to be heard because if there is no place to be heard, then it would be a violation of due process. A public body cannot delegate away its responsibility to have administrative hearings or some kind of process for public input. Please comment here or send me an email. A Lang

  4. All I can say is we reached a new low when we are just repeating non-Jewish politician attacks on a Frum Yid as though to insinuate the Frum Yod is a Ganev and to benefit the no -Jewish politician

    1. The new low is the chilul Hashem and machlokes we are making by going after incumbents who were nice to the frum community and calling them antisemites for political gain. That is as low as we can go.
We caused sinas Yisrael by forgetting we are in galus and challenging a republican incumbent.
Yes this is what the askanim pushing schnal have done. Shame on us for not speaking up.

How stupid can you be, did you expect Ned Thompson to just sit there and take attacks from Schnall and not respond?
This is politics if you can't take the heat than think twice before doing such a dangerous move and trying to fool everyone by a deceptive campaign with letters and photo ops from rabbonim who only gave a bracha but not an endorsement

    2. There is nothing wrong with Thompson doing what politicians do.
But this site should not follow him.

You are right, Schnall's candidacy may be wrong. But that does not mean that הותר דמו. That does not mean you can make unfounded accusations against him. You can explain why not to vote for him, nothing else.

    3. 100%. I have yet to see this site (or the scoop) publish anything from Schnall. They've clearly taken the non-jewish side.

    4. Stop with this frum yid nonsense we don't belong in Trenton we don't fight against Jackson with lawsuits just because we can and putting other yidden in Sakana
If people feel that the actions of a fellow yid is endangering them they have every right to speak up and voice their opinion. The mesorah of Lakewood HAS ALWAYS BEEM to back the incumbent with hakoras hatov. The Schnall backers have yet to address this concern despite all the PR.

Do we say that neturei karta are yidden and don't speak up? Not comparing the two but when when you run for public office and it could effect frum yidden then yes expect pushback and not everyone will follow along even for free tuition

Calling out an opponent for campaign finance issues is politics 101 welcome to the cesspool

    5. There can be issues of mesira - we have a shulchan Aruch. Sorry you can’t do what you want. Digging up all kinds of stories such as where his office is located etc. just to trash a candidate may not be allowed aylor.

    7. I would like to see hefkervelt publish something from Shnalls campaign in order to show fairness that none of the other websites are willing to do. I sent in a full page ad for next week's Voice. The girl took the order and I sent the ad. I am still waiting for my bill. I have a feeling they will not put my ad in. I hope I am wrong. The LNN refused to interview me. Scoop, shopper, voice , even the APP ignore my existence after all these years of advocacy and trying to improve lakewood and our image among our neighbors. With all this money being paid to try and make me lose, everyone should ask, what do they all lose if I win? Why is it worth spending all that money ? Is it simply because they want to help the klal better?

    8. Why is ok for the vaad to endorse a non Jewish candidate over a frum one but everybody better vote for schnall cu he's the frum candidate over the non Jewish one the answer is..... that your hypocrites and it is all about the binyomins and protecting the cookie jar

    9. "Do we say that neturei karta are yidden and don't speak up". Well as neturie katara are perfectly valid in their opinions there is nothing to speak up about.
And as far I can tell about schnall the same goes for him. Why Hefkerfelt and FAA and its commentators decided he's evil incarnate is quite mystifying.

    10. Even if Schnall is wrong, it is no heter to publicize unproven accusations against him.

Somehow, the kana'im on this blog have forgotten that being 'right' does not allow them to do whatever they want. Even if they are convinced they are right, there are Halachos of how to act towards a frum Yid.

    11. HERE we go again..
      Like Monsey
Schnall & Backers run roughshod forever over the rest of us, wrecking whatever we have left.BUT we are forever forbidden to put them down because they're frum?! The Goy has to always be bad ?!
      Excuse me !

      Delete
    12. I didn't say that the Goy has to be bad.

I didn't say for whom to vote.

I said what the Torah said לא תלך רכיל בעמך. If you have something to say that the Torah allows you to say, by all means say it. But if the Torah forbids you to say it, then don't say it.

Halacha didn't take a rest for elections.

  5. It's very understandable that people feel terrible what happened in EY but to donate money to ZAKA a government entity which is 100% funded by the Israeli government doesn't make too much sense.

    1. Zaka is only 20% government funded; the rest is funded privately

    5. Anyone calling out Schnall is anti establishment - it’s almost guaranteed their voting record is to not vote in incumbents. In fact the same people screaming how the vaad went for incumbent Murphy are complaining about not voting for incumbent Ned!

  8. Avi Schnall is not running; he is being run by a select few that have an agenda to push. If you want to give more power to the “askanim” that ruined Lakewood than Avi is your man. I don’t plan on voting for the back room power brokers.

  9. Yes to tuition relief
No to putting in a yeshivish guy in Trenton to start up with the neighbors in district 30.
Let the new askanim figure out another way how to get the bill passed
