- This Shabbos afternoon there will be a solar eclipse visible starting at 12:07 to 2:37 pm,  in New Jersey, people looking up in the sky on Saturday “will only see about 25% of the sun get covered by the moon,  The moon’s maximum coverage of the sun just one small corner of the sun’s lower-right side   will occur at 1:22 p.m., with the moon moving away from the sun by 2:36 p.m.. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon is positioned in just the right spot between the sun and the Earth to block the sun from our view. When this happens, part of the Earth bathes in lunar shadow

- From an article in this week issue of the Lakewood shopper about the district 30 election:
While the democratic establishment is coddling anti semites, our republican representatives in state government have always stood up for our community They have consistently fought against hate and have done everything in their power to stop its spread
With hatred bubbling beneath the surface one may be puzzled why a member of our community would choose at this specific time to besmirch an elected official who has always been a true friend to our community and to try to label him in ridiculous ways as something he is clearly not. Such fake outrage over non -existent antisemitism can only serve to embolden the real haters and draw more antagonism towards our community

  1. The Schnall campaign is raitzing uhn all our republican neighbors this is idiotic and dangerous what the self appointed askanim are doing behind closed doors on their power trip. They are trying to oust a republican incumbent who helped the Lakewood kehilla for a family of getting money from the dirty democrats.
This is putting us in a Sakana and they launched a campaign of fake issued lying to the community about expanding Route 9,something the democrats in control could have done if they wanted.
The olam must speak up and talk to the roshei yeshiva about this sudden move to not care about hakoras hatov to create eiva and sinas Yisrael.
    Wake up lakewood

Now, how should we go about that

    1. There should be a public gathering or meeting for all those who are against this
Everyone should address their concerns to Rabbonim and Roshei yeshiva at this point we don't trust shnall or meir Lichtenstein to have the communities best interest in mind.
There should be a public meeting with avi shnall the democrat candidate and let him explain why he is doing this and not hide behind some ads or hide anything from the voters
The olam in Lakewood will not be treated like kindergarten kids or bullied on who to vote for when it is seriously concerning our physical and spiritual lives.
A dumb marketing campaign with no explanation is embarrassing and a shtuch on us.

Let all those askans hiding in the meetings and making phone calls come out and talk to the community with Seichel and listen to the serious taanos against this move.

Let us present our concerns to all the moetzes members in person otherwise the signatures don't have any weight
