Rockets Launched from Gaza Into Eretz Yisrael

Friday May 12 Updates 

- Israel assasinates another Islamic Jihad leader, Hamasa threatening to join the fight, Jihad warns of more rockets to Yerushalayim.

- For the first time, rocket sirens sounded in the West Bank, Gush Etzion and localities in the Judean mountains near Yerushalayim at noon on Friday.

- Hamas warns Israel of striking civilian infrastructure targets in Gaza 

-The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that the Israeli military is striking Islamic Jihad targets in the Gaza Strip amid a heavy barrage of rockets launched toward Efrat, Beitar Ilit, Beit Shemesh,

-Ceasefire talks collapse for the 3rd time

Thursday May 11 Updates:

- IDF hitting Islamic Jihad targets across the Gaza strip and killing several more of the leadership. Since the beginning of the campaign 30 terrorists were eliminated.

- Frum Radio stations in E"Y will operate with a silent frequency over shabbos  and broadcast important information if need be.  

- Agudah statement: Our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters in Israel who over the past few days have been the victims of a fierce and deadly barrage of rocket fire. We, at Agudath Israel of America, pray to the Master of the Universe that He will speedily bring these hostilities to an end and restore calm to the nation. We also plead that He bring comfort to the family of the dead and that He grant a full and swift recovery to the injured.

- Israel anounces ceasefire off the table as the cabinet talks of intensifying campaign against terrorists.
 - Over 800 rockets fired into nu Islamic Jihad since yesterday.
- 1 killed R"L 6 injured in rechovot direct hit
- Direct hit from a rocket on a house in Rechovot injuries reported. The misslebis a new type that has a longer range.
- Israeli air strike kills Islamic Jihad rocket commander Gallant:
 - Defense establishment preparing for expanded rocket fire from Gaza
- Officials say Cease fire wont happen before shabbos 

- Egypt is mediating a ceasefire to end Operation Shield and Arrow on Wednesday, while Islamic Jihad continued a barrage of rockets towards Israeli cities in the south and Tel Aviv area. “The campaign still isn’t over,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement to the media. “We say to the terrorists and those who sent them: We see you everywhere; you can’t hide.”

- New round of rockets with heavy barrage on the south including Tel Aviv Irinon dome intercept visible from Ponovezh yeshiva. IDF planes retaliate by hitting targets and homes of Islamic Jihad leadership. Netanyahu to address the narion.
- Talk of a cease fire by this evening 
 - Over 300 rockets have been launched since the operation Bagan. British airways has diverted the planes to land in Cyprus
-All planes have been grounded or rerouted away from rocket fire
Red alerts sound in Tel Aviv, rockets bombard south. Red alert sirens sounded in areas close to the Gaza border and across Ashkelon early on Wednesday afternoon, as a barrage of rockets was fired into Israel for the first time since the IDF struck Palestinian Islamic Jihad targets in Gaza early on Tuesday morning.
