Will Menashe the committeeman reinstae the rent control board he abolished he promised to do so more than 10 years ago. Meanwhile all the issues with tenants and landlords could have been avoided and dealt with instead we are stuck with this mess.
ReplyDeleteMenashe could care less.He didn’t care about us then, and he doesn’t care about us now. He gets a big paycheck no matter what he does or doesn’t do.
DeleteBut, hey, I’m sure you can get him to do a photo-op if it’ll get published in the local weeklies.
Menashe looks at every tenant as if they’re wearing a sign on their back that says “kick me”.
DeleteMaybe wake up Sukkos time with your school start changes! Many people Morahs/Teachers/Rebbeim took summer jobs with the plan to have a small break at the end of the summer to go away - telling them they no longer have any break is wreaking havoc to peoples plans and may make many people back out of their summer positions... causing lots of chaos!
ReplyDeleteSo parents need to accommodate teachers vacations? Sorry, no it doesn't work that way.
DeleteKeep on trashing the teachers until there are none left! Should teachers have a vacation? What if they took summer jobs based on having 2 weeks after that for a vacation - What do you want them to do now? They will have to make a choice either back out of their summer jobs or no vacation! I have no issue if you want to start the school year early but deciding it now - for this year is too late.
DeleteThe choice of no vacation is something many of us hard working parents do every year.

If Lakewood area is fastest growing in NJ, how many NJ residents moved out of state?
ReplyDeleteAlso compare RE value increases.
While your at it, compare food prices in rest of NJ. Heimishe stores, and regular supermarkets like ShopRite.
"Several Lakewood rabbonim have been working on getting the schools to start the yeqr earlier rhan labor day the Brooklyn schools doing so was a result of the Lakewood hishtadlus, however some bigger schools in Lakewood have not yet committed to an earlier start."
ReplyDeleteWhere did this info come from?
Brooklyn schools were are because Brooklyn parents did some complaining. The schools in Brooklyn still pay attention to the parents
Deletelakewood grew w 4000 in 2 years , just the babies born bli ayin haora is double that aside from the thousands moving in kein yirbu!
ReplyDeleteWhen the teachers get paid a living wage then we could discuss vacations. They get paid lower than secretaries in offices but give their neshamos for our children. We better not dare to touch their needed vacations so they have the strength to give our children their all.
ReplyDeleteIt's too late. Many of the top teachers have left teaching to make a living wage in offices . So keep knocking them and complain about them and you won't have any left.
ReplyDeleteWe hear every year about how Torah Umesora, and the schools raise tuition to raise teachers. Where is all the money going, if it isn't going to teachers.
