If Mossad attempts to derail terrorist activity abroad, but the Ribono Shel Olam objects, what occurs in the end?
If the I.D.F. searches for a wanted fugitive and Shomayim wants him to elude capture, what takes place at the end of the day?
If the Divine sees fit that an F-135 does not return to its base in the Negev, what’s the סוף דבר!?
Everyone knows the answer to the four questions – who didn’t conduct a Seder Pesach eve?
The Haggada is the narrative of Am Yisrael.
A Supreme Entity took His people out of Egypt, turning normative nature on its head, via ten plagues.
The signature message of Lail Pesach is that only One Above, Who brought the world into existence ex nihilo, charts the course of events in the world, as we speak.
In Ami’s piece, one of those interviewed responds: “The Iranians are still enriching uranium and improving their capabilities independent of reproachment, which means that Israel now has no tools against Iran, other than force. Israel will eventually need to decide whether or not to attack the nuclear installations.”
Taking out Iran’s lethal weaponry would be a watershed moment. However, the Talmud [Yoma 10A] describes a major role for Iran to play in world history; a face-off versus Edom, or Western civilization. There are opposing views mentioned who will win. If Hashem wants things this way, no fleet of F-135’s will impact the calculus.
Thank you for reminding us what is so easy to forget!!!
ReplyDeleteMr Shah, what is the alternative? To sit like ducks and let the Ayatollahs wipe us off the map?
ReplyDeleteHashem gave the state of Israel the tools to deal with it.
Hashem gave us the Torah, and them the State of Israel.
Deleteכל אשר תמצא ידך לעשות בכחך עשה (משלי ט.י). You are too quick too assume hashems will is to wipe out the "medina" I personally would rather half of world Jewry not be under attack. Also you forget that Iran comes from the word aryan. They are edom too. Not yishmael
ReplyDeleteF-135 is the model of engine, F-35 is the airplane.
ReplyDeleteClearly Hashem wants Israel to have the F-35's and use them against Iran. The proof is in the pudding - Hashem gave the F-35's to Israel, not to Iran.
ReplyDeleteDo we know who will win the war? Its a Machlokes in the Gemara. So I'm not worried, whatever Hashem wants will happen. But whether we win or lose, Hashem wants Israel to use the F-35's against Iran. And whether we win or lose, Yidden around the word will davening for the IDF's success.
The reason we will be davening for the IDF's success is PRECISELY because we know its in Hashem's hands, so we will be davening TO HASHEM for the IDF's success.
Today's news Iran has 5 bombs
ReplyDeleteFefense Minister Yoav Gallant revealed on Thursday that Iran currently has enough enriched uranium for five nuclear weapons, should it decide to weaponize that uranium and complete the detonation and delivery tasks for firing a weapon.
“Iran is not sufficing with one nuclear bomb. It has already accumulated enough enriched uranium at the 20% and 60% levels for five nuclear bombs,” the defense minister told his hosts during a visit to Greece
Menachem Begin bombed the reactors in Iraq and saved Israel from nuclear war was that also not with Hashems plan?
ReplyDeleteWe have to daven and trust that Hashem will take care of us and If Israel is the shliach than we must accept that
The writer clearly is not thinking practically of those he or she loves in Eretz Yisroel. We are not a nation of Tamus Nafshi in Plishtim. We make hishtadlus. It is not our job to claim to understand nevuos and help HaShem fulfill them.

ReplyDeleteThank you all for your comments they are well taken may Hashem watch over the Yishuv in Eretz Yisroel and all of us. The pashtus in the Gemara in Yoma is that there are 2 adversaries in theater here Edom and Poras with no one else in the mix
The pashtus in the rambam is that all the pesukim and all chazal about end of times cannot be understood until it happens.

DeleteReading the frum weeklies you would think they are part of the IDF propaganda machine
