- Update on Rav Shmuel Kamenetzky From Matzav The  overall condition of Maran Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky, Philadelphia rosh yeshiva, remains unchanged after his stroke earlier this week. Physicians are working on transferring the rosh yeshiva to a rehab facility or Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Boruch Hashem, as previously reported here, there appears to have been no cognitive damage, but the rosh yeshiva’s speech has been affected.

- Jackson Township's Zoning Board is set today, Wednesday May 3, to face - what appears to be - their first ever Yeshiva dormitory application. The application was submitted by Yeshiva Tiferes Talmud, which is apparently owned by Lakewood developer If this dormitory is approved, it may signal the beginning of a new era that dormitories are welcome in Jackson Township, perhaps even more so than in Lakewood. - Russia threatened nuclear revenge today after accusing Ukraine of trying to assassinate Vladimir Putin in a drone strike on the Kremlin. 

- Federal Reserve raised its interest rates another 0.25%, to a range between 5% and 5.25%, the highest level since 2007. The increase is the 10th straight interest-rate hike since last March.

- FBI records allegedly reveal then-VP Biden was engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national. Fox news reports A whistleblower is alleging that the FBI and the Justice Department are in possession of a document that describes a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley said Wednesday.

It is said over that Reb Shayala appeared in a dream and told someone that you can go daven at my brothers kever in New York and will be helped just as if you came to me in Kerestir. The address for GPS is 1125 Richmond Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10314. Exit 7 off the SI expressway. The kever is  located on second street and avenue c in the Bais Hachaim a 5 minute walk from the entrance.

Frum community in England will say a special tefilah this Shabbos with the coronation of the new King

  2. Hatzolah needs motorcycles and scooters like ichud hatzalah in Israel the traffic in Lakewood is a Sakana as there is gridlock and ambulances or emt's can't respond to calls.
    Let's train them and get the bikes

  3. All yungerlight that travel to the Yeshiva should get electric bikes/scooters they are not too expensive, save, not prust like a motorcycle, Will save lots of MONEY, and TIME sitting in traffic and looking where to park

    1. All Baalebatim that travel to work all over the place should ride bikes and scooters.
      Their journey is not that important. Leave the roads for the Yungeleit who need to sit and learn and can't waste time in traffic.

  4. How has hatzolah expanded if there's no members in Westgate a development with 10000 ppl. There are other big areas lacking members they should double the amount of volunteers there no shortage of them looking to join.

      maybe in berlin or hamburg they said it, but then again they are minhug poland
