  2. Clubhouses owned by an association are not tax free - the reason why they become tax free is because the value is supposed to be factored in when assessing the homes in the development. The question would be, were the homes value being assessed whith the clubhouse or not? If the clubhouse was not included in the home value then the homowners should not get off from taxes they rightfully owe - someone should be paying taxes on the clubhouse... Was the township double dipping including the clubhouse in the homes assessment and charging the developer taxes on the clubhouse? I would assume the township has no idea they are supposed to be adding value to homes based on a clubhouse etc..

  3. Menashe Miller decided that he knows better than all the previous township committees that felt it was important to have a rent control board. He therefore did everything he could to abolish it.

It was just a mere coincidence that during that very same time a very powerful landlord in town which had a serious complaint lodged against him at the Board, which even began holding hearings on it, had it all fall apart before a decision could be issued because the Board suddenly ceased to exist.

A big thanks to Menashe and his cohorts for all their hard work in making life so much easier for township tenants.

    3. Perhaps we are frummer and know more than them but I remember both Rav Pam and Rav Shmuel Berenbaum having the American flag up on their houses on patriotic days. Watch the footage of the chanuka habayis of the Yoshon building on BMG. There are plenty of American flags being waved as part of of the procession.

  12. True it’s good news for rabbi eisemann but it’s not exactly a win. Unfortunately it could still drag on for many more years.
