- Lakewood mayor Ray Coles was defiant yesterday at the meeting defending his decision to keep the monthly meeting on zoom despite pleas from Lakewood residents calling for the return of in person meetings. The mayor did not respond to questions about Mike Delia's absence even from the virtual chaplain. and disrespecting lakewood residents by keeping the seat bacant.. He insisted that more residents can participate this way online and that committeeman Menashe Miller can also join when he is on deployment as a chaplain. Residents countered the the committee has snuck in big changes that ruined their neighborhoodd during the video meetings and they have no way to talk directly face to face with township officials. Th a mayor said he is available at his office to which the response was that they went three trimes but he's MIA. Lakewood is from one of the only municipalities in NJ still meeting  virtually after covid. All other committee members remaind quiet and did not respond at all to the public comments.

  1. Safaria should never have been on any religious person's phone being that they quote indiscriminately from the worst heretics even before this change.

  3. IMO this has all the signs of pure corruption and a cover up. Legal needs to get involved.

    1. You can expect the height limit to be raise to 150 when the FD quietly releases a report says it's "ok"

The densities and parking is the same for 75&150ft. Just a matter of less lot coverage, the building is the same sqft. A 150 building is worth much more, as it can serve as a cell antenna for the GSP. And for other parking shtick. It costs much more to build 150 ft with same sqft.

  4. Big tzadik Albert refused also refused to answer, and remained silent when asked why it's acceptable for meeting to be remote and why it's ok the council to consistently have an empty seat. Salhame on him and his cohorts. If even one of the would object they'd be force to return to normal meetings.
