- Israel announces rescue of two hostages from Hamas captivity in Gaza both are in good health

The two, Fernando Simon Marman (60) and Norberto Louis Har (70) were extracted in a joint operation by the IDF, Shin Bet and Israel Police in Rafah. They were kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak on October 7.

-Egypt is reportedly threatening to suspend its peace treaty with Israel if Israeli troops are sent into the densely populated Gaza border town of Rafah

-IDF has captured 20 Hamas terrorists alive hiding at a hospital in Khan Younis.

- Military wing of Hamas: "The ongoing Israeli attacks in the Strip over the past 96 hours have caused the death of two hostages and serious injury to eight others. Their condition is getting worse due to the lack of proper treatment. The enemy bears full responsibility for the lives of these wounded in the continued attacks.”

-Egypt warns ties with Israel at risk as IDF prepares for Rafah offensive. Following PM Netanyahu’s announcement that the IDF is preparing to enter Rafah, Egypt has again warned Israel that any mass displacement of Palestinians into its territory would put the countries’ decades-long peace agreement and close security ties at risk.
