    1. Because people aren't coming to the organization's offering the money without them making these campaigns and they are there to help our brothers and sisters in need

    2. Its starting to get ugly where more and more people are refusing to participate in this campaigning - it will eventually turn into a fight with schools /org blaming parents for not having any hakros hatov for their sons daughter school etc...

    3. The whole power of a rosh mosad or organization is that they raise the funds, by forcing people and guilting the parents to raise money they are losing their control and respect if there ever was any.

    4. I'm starting to feel like 60 percent of tzedoka that I give I'm forced to give to organizations and schools or that I don't think are important or just have no feeling for it. And by the time my school needs money or I want to give to something that I feel is important I don't have money left

  2. Don't blame the barbers for the haircuts, blame the mothers who want their kids to have those goyish hairstyles or the bochurim who want the cool looking buzz cut
And blame the men too for shaving their payos area

  8. R Henoch would have never allowed such a thing for illegals. He,the epitome of a straightshooter.
Once again we unfortunately have individuals going through the motions aping/mimicking the original authentic

    1. So in your world, straight shooter = midas sedom.

I don't accept your Lashon Hara on Reb Henoch. He would surely have allowed an empty building to be rented to house poor migrants. He wasn't an evil character, hiding behind laws to hurt people.

    2. He was such a straightshooter that Albany relied on him. He would never break federal regulations.

    3. Chazal was against accepting edomim. When have we ever hosted other peoples just because it would have been easier for them. Even bonafide refugees.
If so, were we acc. culpable for midas sedom.

    4. My guess is you never met Reb Henoch
