- New website launched FrumNews.com  a New Frum Community News Website a Lashon Hara free zone. It is a response to the mainstream so-called “Frum News” websites, as people are not okay with the status quo of what is considered appropriate for public consumption. Whether it’s the Lashon Hara and Rechilus, Sinas Chinam and anti-frum liberal rhetoric, a never-ending diet of articles filled with a hate and general disregard of common sense or respectfulness towards Yidden – what is very clear is that this harms our frum communities, causes community machlokes, damages families, and needs to be remedied immediately.. ..Overly obsessed with sad unfortunate news and tragedies r”l, and using graphic and insensitive images of frum tragedies r”l, which hurts much more because its of our fellow yidden, many images which cannot be unseen afterwards.. "You're rejecting that offer?'' Paone asked him. "Yes,'' Eisemann responded.
The judge said the state's withholding of evidence did not constitute willful misconduct. he said the state's conduct was not serious enough to warrant dismissal of the charges.

- R' Aaron Lang criticized state report, saying it makes no mention of the impact of inadequate state aid, instead focusing on the district’s management style. “All they did was say they are not running the district correctly, the court said that they had to address funding,” Lang said. “They took the position that everything has to be blamed on the district.”

    1. Schnall is incapable of figuring those stuff out. Who cherrypicks those kleine stuff for him,& whose going to gain?

    2. I'm not a Schnall supporter but what does anyone think, that he was just going to get elected and then introduce legislation about tuition relief on day one? First he has to build up relationships by cosponsoring other bills, then he can start sponsoring some of his own.

    3. RIght. Typical Lakewood. Slap backs, No brilliance. No grandeur. It is who you know, not what you know. BULLONEY !!!! That istupid saying I heard from a Vaad member is because the whole town, almost, has less than an 8th grade education. Smart people know smart people. Smart people do not respect dummies.

People from North Jersey, any one in legislature from that part of the state, where all the power is, are educated. They understand the historic role of public schools. They understand a lot more, particularly American history and government. They will run circle around your backslapper just like the governor ran circles around the Vaad last November. And you continue to follow your marching orders with promises of FAVOR and vouchers. Add then there is hakaros hatov for all the FAVORS. We have to show achdus to elected novices and ignore true transformative power. Woe to us if an innovative, visionary attracts the attention of the nation and the most brilliant and capable in the state, and does not have to ask for FAVORS, and works out solutions for our Bizzaro town. Ostracize and ignore him.

  3. The state continues to be rodef reb Osher but our asskanim bullied the town to vote for Murphy and the democrats because we will get free tuition

    1. You will never get free tuition. NJ having a large voucher program would be like Massachusetts. It will never happen, not because of politics, but because we have the second best public schools in the nation. Almost everyone in NJ went to public schools, probably more than in Massachusetts, which has the best system of public schools. Sure Murphy has the clout to get you a $5 million school choice program, probably with half or more reserved for students in public schools, in return for your opposition to fixing the formula, that would bring in $100 million a year, but don't think you won't pay tuition. The state is not going to start paying your tuition to bring up boys who don't know who was Robert E. Lee, Andrew Jackson, or even George Washington, or who will never learn the three branches of government, or check and balances. Get real. Bread and circuses. Give the stupid people stupid promises.

    2. Pass on free tuition.
Let's just see $5-$10,000 vouchers for tuition.
That way, the school owners can raise tuition to absorb the state voucher.
By the way, the local Board of Education can do the same thing.

  4. There's a bill in Trenton by republicans that would give vouchers to public school parents to send their child to a private school if they object to learning material or activity that parent considers harmful

Why is Schnall not part of that legislation it's a no Brainer
and also would work if everyone enrolls in Public school and objects to the material right away

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because it will never pass and Schnall wants to align himself with those who propose bills that will pass. Do you think the Democratic majority will ever agree to pass that bill? Do you think they don't realize that they may as well offer vouchers outright if they are going to support such a bill because every parent who wants to send their children to private school is going to claim something objectional was taught

      Delete
    2. Let's get a bit real.
"Schnall wants to align himself with those" who step on us & all we hold dear. Which is what they [those inTrenton & those beyond] desire him there for.
The Dems want us in so badly if/when Schnall demands it, by hook or by crook they WILL pass it. But likely only once they have finished demeaning those outside their party prior for the identical bill.

    3. Assemblyman Schnall is not part of that cause he opposes Republican Party policies.
Lakewood residents mostly support Republican Party values. The Lakewood power structure supports Demoncratic Party values, cause that's where the government grants are; not that you or I see anything from those grants, except increased taxes.

      Delete
    4. The "structure supports Demoncratic Party values" because all they care for is short term gain. They don't care a hoot about longer, larger gains for anybody even their own
They presume yet that when/if longer term comes around they will have the rabbis finagle the masses under their thumb for the next round of short term limping. So far hasn't it worked like a charm?
"Assemblyman Schnall is not part of that cause he opposes Republican Party policies." Name me a single policy he opposes besides their lesser enthusiasm for "give me more dough" & "we want as much cheap trashy illegal labor"as possible.Don't worry,he can't either.
Values? Kidding? They couldn't be able to tell you what the term might imply if they were hit by it in the nose

It looks like just another platform to push ads to

  6. See Joe Strupp's story. Lakewood, if you don't do anything to reform your house, to start becoming involved in public affairs, and to stop following your marching orders, your grandkids will not be living here.

Why do you think nothing great ever gets done? Fixing the formula, building an infrastructure of roads, creating a powerhouse of opportunity and an engine of growth for future generations cannot happen in a system of back-slapping favors, whereas men of vision and ability have no place.

It is beyond the pale that a BOE member would even CONSIDER running for the Township and yet I have been telling you for years about the incompetence the elected officials. There is ZERO accountability.

And the biggest shame is that this is getting delivered lock, stock and barrel, and yet still, you take your marching orders to elect the same dumb sixth grade dropouts. Shame. A L

  8. I have no complaints against what Shnall has done, but he should be held to account. When he sponsors a bill, any bill, it should be publicized.

    1. it should be publicized:
Does that include toevah that he has to backslap his fellow legislators with?

I also think abortion should be legal, but again, if others disagree, they should know the facts.

    4. We believe that one of the reasons that Hashem
scattered us among the nations, in addition to the obvious fact that this
is a punishment for our sins foretold in the Torah, is that we are meant
to be an ohr lagoyim, a Light to the Nations.

Afra l'pumei.Heaven hates them, but you're fine with them. You faked us for long enough till now. What's with that kippa you bother wearing?
There are sources that amalek before moshiach are these deviants & their control (far from the jews official favorite enemies eg hamas).Identify yourself so we can be aware which side you're going to be on & keep our distance

every liberal law passed in America will find its way to eretz Yisrael
HE instructed Mr.Loebenstein Councillor of Hackney,London as well that it is incumbent for on all those who are involved to fight against these
Even as per your erroneous position
thirty five years ago the argument of “we don’t care what they do “ may have been an accurate depiction of the political scene we face. Today even assuming the argument was once valid and correct it no reflects the reality of who and what we are dealing with when it comes to liberal left politicians and policies.
Things like the government fight against metitza bpeh, control of the curriculum in the New York State, red zones etc. show that we have already reached the point where your liberals are holding by actively working “lhaskeychom Torasech” R'L
Not to mention other issues like their efforts to have anyone who doesn’t share their view on Toeva be considered as a racist who must be dealt with.

  9. AL is very upset today. He is beginning to sound like Al Gore saying the world would cease to exist in five years. No, I am not in support of the vaad and cronies, but the screaming isn't working. There needs to be a grass roots long term plan to start making people see things differently. Look at how the LGBTQ agenda, Soros agenda, DEI, etc. has transformed over the years and are now mainstream. This was carefully planned and took years. We need a long term re-education.

    1. So do it. Gore never said the world won’t be here. He just advised to not buy beachfront property. And I don’t care whether people stay little girls, the wusses they are,or become men who take responsibility for their own affairs. I am out of the district. Not to mention every other district that offers a position now gets a call from someone in Trenton telling them to rescind it. So yes, I am steaming mad. And believe me, all it is going to take is one governor, or maybe not even that, to tell Lakewood to pony up. I guess some people in Lakewood can afford double or triple the tax levy. It’s not the end of the world.

  10. Here is our reply to the expert report on the district written by Professor Tractenberg.

    https://arthur2240.ipage.com/documents/PLT%20REsponse%20to%20Cary%20Booker.pdf

The district also will be responding. Hopefully, we will now be on the same page and fix this monumental problem once and for all.

Commissioner Dehmer recused himself since he testified for the state and I cross-examined him in 2019, so he appointed Assistant Commissioner Cary Booker (the senator's brother) to issue the final agency decision which will be April 1.

Someone posted a link to a shiur from R’ Michoel Sorotzkin a few months ago - the shiur discussed (among other things) the move to using K’sav Ashuris when Ezra came to EY- can anyone please repost the link? Also, can whoever was posting links to his shiur please start doing so again? Thank you.
