Israel At War Tuesday March 19

Israel at war day 165

- Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says he considered calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to step down in a speech last week, in which he argued for early elections in Israel to replace the premier but ultimately decided against it so as not to be seen as lecturing Israel. “I wrestled with myself — maybe I should say Bibi should step down,” Schumer tells The New York Times in an interview, explaining why he decided against the move. “That is telling Israel what to do, and it’s in the middle of a war.”

- The IDF has Confirmed that a Long-Range Land Attack Cruise Missile launched by the Houthi Terrorist Group in Yemen has Impacted the Territory of Israel for the First Time since the War began in October, with an Initially “Unknown Aerial Target” entering Southern Israeli Airspace on Monday Morning after being Tracked by the IAF over the Red Sea until it eventually Struck an Open Area to the North of Eilat causing No Damage or Casualties.

- Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlita said that this Purim yeshivos should be toned down and not dance in the streets and keep a low profile. Of course the mitzvos hayom should be done as usual but all the extras should be curtailed such as collecting only in cities like Bnei Brak etc.. as for Pesach ben hazmanin he said if the current situation continues, the zman should go on but too early to make that decision.

- Democrat Strategist James Carville: "If Democrats Lose In November It’s Israel’s Fault"

- WSJ editorial: Democrats turn on Israel-
The joke around Jerusalem is that while Mr. Biden once worked to help Israel after Oct. 7, he’s now working on the “two-state solution”: Michigan and Nevada. Israelis notice that the President rarely speaks of defeating Hamas anymore. Instead, he bashes Israel under the cover of bashing its Prime Minister.
This dance is Mr. Biden’s way of catering to the anti-Israel left without alienating the bulk of U.S. voters who would find it unconscionable to turn on the Israeli people in wartime. What Henry Kissinger once said about Israel having no foreign policy, only domestic politics, Israelis are now saying about America. How else to explain Mr. Biden’s “red line” on Rafah, Hamas’s final stronghold?

Team of intel officials accompanying Mossad chief to remain in Qatari capital for negotiations, which WSJ says mediators warned Israel would be the final round if no deal reached

-Troops killed over 50 Hamas gunmen so far in ongoing raid at Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital

- After a Phone Call earlier today with U.S. President Biden, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly Agreed to send a Team of Diplomatic and Military Officials to Washington, D.C. for discussions on how the White House and some Members of the U.S. Government believe a IDF Ground Operation within the City of Rafah should be Conducted, in order to Minimize the chance of Civilian Casualties and/or Suffering.

- Overnight, Syria's state-run SANA news agency reported that Israeli fighter jets carried out a strike against several sites near Damascus, causing "material losses."

DNC America: A Michigan Democrat Imam champions slaughtering Jews like sheep. These are the voters Biden and his Administration are wooing by tightening the screws on Israel — a phenomenon that will continue to increase until the November elections. (Gop Israel)
