Israel at war day 172

-Reports that Israeli aircraft have intensified airstrikes on Rafah City in Gaza in the past few hours
- Rav Dovid Cohen, Chevron R"Y said he is adamantly opposed to the conscription law, quotas and conscription targets there's strong opposition to it. why can't we go back to the Tal Law? Does anyone think that we're going to send our buys tov the IDF?
Mike Pompeo: You are either on the side of Hamas or the side of Israel. And Hamas was thrilled to see the Biden Administration refuse to stand up for Israel.
- Giyus update: Reports say the number of Charedim that will have to be drafted yearly is 2500.
- Journalist Yinon Magal says no one is talking about the secular draft dodgers or the Arab ones this whole bill about drafting Orthodox jews is to attack them for joining the Netanyahu coalition.
- Hamas has informed mediators that it rejects the latest hostage deal after Israel made significant concessions and offered the release of 800 prisoners for 40 hostages.
The rejection is a direct consequence of todays’ UN vote. Hamas has no reason to negotiate or compromise when countries are pressuring Israel to accept a ceasefire.

-Extensive damage from Hezbollah launches in Avivim, IDF base targeted. No casualties were reported and the event did not obstruct operational activities, the IDF noted.
- A report compiled by UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, expected to be delivered on Tuesday, accuses Israel of committing genocide in the Gaza Strip and states an arms embargo should be imposed on the Jewish State, according to a report by The Guardian on Tuesday.
-Hamas plan was a massacre at Tel Aviv journalist Ilan Kfir claimed that Hamas had an operative plan to reach the heart of Tel Aviv on October 7, but was ultimately thwarted. At the heart of the plan was a breach in two areas, in the north as well as in the south and east, towards Dimona, which was singled out by the group as a very central target. The goal of the operation would have been a raid on Tel Aviv. They marked several focal points in the city that were expected to be crowded in the afternoon and evening in order to carry out a mass massacre in the city," the author stated.
What about endless secular who find cushy jobs up in the IDF

We have heard many condemnations of Israel from all over the world, but I have yet to have heard even one condemnation of the fact that Hamas is fighting from a hospital. Of course, with all the illogical comments against Israel in the last few months, I am not surprised. It just reinforces one of the great lessons Hashem is trying to convey to us. We are an "Am levadad." And any of our attempts to be more like "them" and to be more friendly with "them" leads Hashem to remind us that we are different and have to stay separate. If we do so willingly, all is well and good. But when we don't, Hashem does it for us.
