" He did not mention who will be running  it  but said  theres a need for one since  Lakewood has no senior center  to help bolster its burgeoning senior population and keep them mentally, emotionally, and physically active,”
An additional  million will go to the new yeshiva   600 apartments on the property  purchased from GCU to improve and upgrade  Carey street  “This federal support will provide significant infrastructure improvements needed to support critically needed housing units, including sidewalks, street lighting, a traffic signal, streetscape features, and upgrades to drinking water mains, sewers, and storm water management,” said Smith.

- NY Sen. Chuck Schumer: "Prime Minister Netanyahu has lost his way by allowing his political survival to take the precedence over the best interests of Israel. The Netanyahu coalition no longer fits the needs of Israel after October 7th." Mitch McConnell has already described Schumer’s call for new elections in Israel is “grotesque” and “unprecedented”

  2. Att all those working at daycares - you are getting ripped off and taken advantage of it is time to unionize! Bringing home a yearly salary of 35k is pathetic - Daycares are coving that with just a handful of kids..it is time for all morahs to demand a starting salary of 50k - There is no reason why office jobs which were always similar pay to a morah are now getting a starting salary close to double of a morah - In a time where rent went up double in the last 4 years your salary should not be going up just a few hundred dollars a month from 4 years ago. And no, daycares will NOT have to raise their prices they are making more money than ever raising the parents hundreds a year (or getting thousands from CHS) and just throwing their employees a bone..

    2. I don't know about daycares now but a few years ago chs wasn't paying as much as you think and daycares need a lot money to run.

    3. Do your research since covid began CHS daily rate Shot up - every time Murphy wants to claim he is helping childcare, he raises the reimbursement rate...
Daycares went up hundreds per child in recent years claiming expenses went up - basically using the morahs as an excuse to raise the price but failing to actually give the morahs any significant raise.
There's a reason why new Daycares keep on opening up..

  4. Chris Smith grants are getting diverted to a selct few akanim who ate using the public voting power to get millions of dollars for their projects instead of advocating for the entire Lakewood like widening rt 9. The new senior center will be run by a well connected askan.
People met with Chris Smith for getting the endorsement and somehow the grants all go for their projects while the Lakewood voters and tax payers don't get any money to improve the infrastructure

The new bmg apartments by the college git close to 10 million in grants under traffic improvements including funding day care centers
    This is corruption
Why isn't these millions of dollars going to help widen rt 9 or improve sidewalks for All lakewood residents.

    1. Did you give the Congressman a campaign donation?
You can give one just like the askanim do. In fact, not much money, unless you want something really hard
