-The negotiations for a Gaza hostage and ceasefire deal were near collapse, Israeli media reported on Sunday, after Hamas refused to provide information on the status of the remaining hostages in the Strip.

-Officials now believe that Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar has no intention of agreeing to a temporary ceasefire in the coming days.
Instead, Israel believes Sinwar wants to escalate the violence further over Ramadan.

- Giyus: Defense Minister Yoav Gallant  doubled down his call for lawmakers to hash out legislation to end blanket exemptions on the military draft for members of the ultra-Orthodox community “The army is in need of manpower now. It’s not a matter of politics, it’s a matter of mathematics,” he said.

Israel's condition for a list of living abductees in order to resume negotiations for a ceasefire is not can put pressure on the resistance.”

- War cabinet Minister Benny Gantz has arrived in the US ahead of a series of meetngs with high-level officials, his office says. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly furious that Gantz is heading to DC without his approval, and is said to have instructed the Israeli embassy in Washington not to facilitate his meetings.
