Petirah of Rabbi Meir Hertz Z”L Meir Naftoli ben Tzvi Halevi Founder of Tashbar Lakewood at the age of 75 following an illness. The levaya will take place this afternoon 3:00pm at the Tashbar school 82 Oak street. Livestream 
 Kevura will take place in E"Y at the Eretz Hachaim Cemetery in Bet Shemesh.

R’ Meir Z"L is survived by his wife,Mrs. Chani and children: Avraham Mordechai, Yitzchak, Dovid, Chaim, Yechezkel, Mrs. Gitty Eisenberg, Mrs. Rivky Birnbaum, Mrs. Matti Marcus, Mrs. Tzippy Colton, and Mrs. Hadassah Glantz. His brother R' Boruch Barry Hertz and sister Mrs. Lazorowitz.
 His son, R’ Tzvi z”l, was niftar in 2012 at the age of 29.
R' Meir was involved in many chesed initiatives that brought funding to Lakewood including the HUD office that helped couples with affordable housing.TNZBH

  1. Reb Meir z'l did tremendous things for Lakewood. I remember when he put out a parsha weekly and was from the first to do it. People have had benefits from Sec8 , Tashbar and other intitives that Reb Meir created. The family shgoudl have a nechama
