When Purim is Motzai Shabbos/Sunday by Midwest Bais Horaah
• The Megillah itself, being a part of Tanach, is not muktzeh, and may be moved on Shabbos for any reason (Chayeh Adam 155:10, Mishnah Berurah 308:22, 688:17).
• One may sleep on Shabbos, even for the purpose of having energy on Motzai Shabbos. However, one should not say explicitly their intention (MB 290:4, see Shaarei Teshuvah 290:2).
• One may not do actions on Shabbos in preparation for an event after
Shabbos. Therefore (if one didn’t do so on Erev Shabbos), one must wait until Shabbos is over to search for Purim items like megillos or costumes (see Biur Halachah 342:2).
• One should not bring their megillah to shul on Shabbos, even where there is an Eruv (Shaarei Teshuvah 693:1 from the Yaavetz, CA 141:17, Aruch HaShulchan 693:3).
• Children may put on their costumes even before the z’man, for Motzai Shabbos, as they have immediate enjoyment when putting them on (seeIgros Moshe OC 4:105, Chashukei Chemed Megillah 14a).
• At Seudah Shelishis, even if one eats bread after Purim has started, does not recite Al Hanissim in bentching (MB 188:33).
• Havdalah should be said after the megillah (Rema 693:1 Shaar HaTzion 5),
One who is not hearing the megillah right away may recite Havdalah first, especially if they need eat something small before the later megillah (Dayan Fuerst shlita).
• After Shabbos is over, one should say לחול קודש בין המבדיל ברוך before engaging in any weekday activity.
from the midwest Bais Horaah
MB says one says Yaaleh Veyavo if ate some bread (Chatam Sofer says the same with cake) after zman on Sunday Rosh Chodesh.
