  1. Whatever amount of money the voucher law allocates, if passed, we have first dibs on $100 million off the top unless the state is willing to cough it up for both Lakewood public schools and Lakewood nonpublic schools. The bill expressly says that money cannot be appropriated for the vouchers unless the state is providing enough funding for a thorough and efficient education in the public schools.

  2. Another dumb-&%$ mistake on the part of Lakewood leadership. Everything has to be done in secret. Another reason why the Lakewood system is inefficient.

    2. Knowledge is power in a free society. Secret power can only exist in a vacuum of.power and comes crashing down because when decisions are made in secret they are made in the absence of knowledge. AND it is even worse in Lakewood because no one even knows who is making the decisions! What a joke 80% of this electorate that follows the marching orders made in secret for a tiny, little ole BOE in which more than $400 million flows through each year. I guess it was destined for the state to promise you vouchers, like it was so important to bring it up this election, when we are already at the finish line in getting our financial house in order, but now you will end up giving the lions share of any money coming out of the legislature to the BOE controlled by a bunch of dummies.

    3. You have a lot of valuable info to offer.Unfortunately the public is being blocked & has yet to receive it
Put it up on billboards, lampposts. Or contact maybe R Yehuda Levin for his Thursday night radio show

    4. What radio show? Can you contact this broadcaster? I have been interviewed by the Star Ledger, APP, NJ Spotlight, featured in Politico, the Shopper, the Voice. The system is rotten and everyone in NJ knows that public opinion in Lakewood amounts to nothing.

It took me ten years to figure out who might be in control (the PEOPLE should be in control) and still, the decisions are made insulated behind closed doors without a home address. Find me someone who will pay for billboards, advertisements, and mailings. Get me a political action committee. My gosh, you have the most powerful issue in any NJ township since 1990 fall right into your hands without any cooperation of your elected officials. Seize the moment and bring government for the people, if not government of the people to Lakewood (and the neglect and ignorance of those making our decisions PROVES that in America, only government of the people can be for the people).

  3. I've been saying, forever, that no substantial appropriation will go to vouchers until hundreds of millions first goes to Lakewood under the NJ Constitution. It's a no-brainer. Also, one of the sponsors of the voucher bill is Sen. Sarlo, who asked the commissioner after the appellate victory, "How much for Lakewood?"

So you gain nothing with this whole election last November when you should have been focused on the real issue, that BOE has no power and just a handful of misinformed and stupid people decide policy, and that is most important issue BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING.

It's like the Bizzaro world in the old comic books.

  4. Isn't that interesting?
    Here is the breakdown:
    1. People in Lakewood sully their home with the Yated and its filthy goyishe opinions.
    2. People in Lakewood accept the words of the Yated as gospel truth, and start accepting everything that has the name conservative/republican on it.
    3. People in Lakewood create a religious obligation to believe in republican/NRA interpretations of the comic book known as the US constitution.
    4. Getting a gun becomes a priority in Lakewood, without any cheshbon of its dangers with many children in relatively small houses, and its uselessness in most dangers that have any likelihood to befall us.
    5. Immature fathers, asskanim, and morons (I repeated myself, I know) play with those guns, causing more problems.

We should have stopped at No. 1. Don't allow rags like that into your home.

    1. This is a serious situation. Some anonymous guy on the internet thinks you should not be reading the Yated. But before I can listen to this deah zugger I need to know, where does HE get his news and opinions from?

    2. He gets it from Hefkervelt - the year-round Purim publication of the community. It is read studiously by many in need of comic relief. There is nothing more humorous than anonymous blog posters who take themselves so seriously as to believe they are the epitome of, nay the only realy, bnei Torah and "ehrliche" (methinks the overuse of this word doth...)

    3. The Yated is from the best ones out there but if you are looking to blame how about the local trashy lakewood media and bill boards that advertise guns and shooting ranges non stop the fakewood poop and the Not our Voice weakly who are pushing goyishkeit everyday into innocent Lakewood residents.
These are the official media of the Lakewood vaad tells you all you need to know.

    4. You are a delusional Trump hater and leftist liberal supporter masked in a false rage against the yated and most of Lakewood who voted and will vote again for Trump despite what the self-appointed money grabbing intellectuals in our midst think. They are soooo predictable

    5. As for the Yated, they used to have a reporter that covered the school funding case better than any other journalist, including the major statewide newspapers. He resigned to become a rebbe two years ago and the Yated stopped covering the story. Where is Mishpacha and the others in covering the story that will almost certainly change how towns with large nonpublic populations will be financed? As for me, I have a good time with Hefkerville.

  5. False. If there's any problem it begins only at #3.
Doubtful anybody follows the Yated like your claim. If they would, how come so many keep getting conned by your buddies into voting for Murphy, Booker, or the rest of the trash.
