-Israeli official to CNN: Benny Gantz does not represent the Israeli government during his visit to Washington

- The White House issues a statement about Vice President Harris’s meeting with Israel War Cabinet Member Benny Gantz:
Harris expressed her deep concern about the humanitarian conditions in Gaza and the incident in the northern Gaza Strip this weekend. She called on Israel to act more in the humanitarian aspects

Harris and Gantz discussed the need to reach an agreement on hostages as soon as possible. She called on Hamas to accept the terms on the table according to which the deal would lead to a six-week ceasefire. Harris and Gantz discussed the planned operation in Rafah and the American request for Israel to formulate a humanitarian plan that would ensure the safety of the Gazan citizens

-Hezbollah fires a barrage of over 30 rockets this evening into western Galil

- The IDF releases audio recordings that it says incriminate two UNRWA employees who allegedly participated in the Hamas-led October 7 onslaught. “I’m inside, I’m inside with the Jews,” Mamdouh al-Qali, an Islamic Jihad terrorist whom the IDF says was employed as a teacher in a UNRWA school, is heard saying in the recordings.

- Hamas claims it doesn’t know which hostages are alive, so can’t hand Israel a list

 -Kamala Harris today called for "an immediate ceasefire" in the Israel-Hamas war in her meeting with Israeli War Cabinet member Benny Gantz, pundits say this is in response to thousands of arab voters in Michigan who voted not committed 

-A senior Hamas official tells Arab World Press that “the ball is in Israel’s court” on the hostage talks, after Hamas presented the criteria for the Palestinian prisoners it wants to see released.

-One person is killed and seven others are wounded in the anti-tank missile attack from Lebanon that struck an orchard near the border community of Margaliot, medics say. The victims are all foreign laborers, apparently from Thailand.

-Progress has been made in the ongoing hostage talks in Cairo, KAN reported on Monday, citing an Egyptian source speaking to an Arabic news network.
