- The latest New York Times/Siena College national poll brought bad tidings for Democrats. The results showed 48% for Trump over Biden, who pulled in 43% of respondents — a major and telling five point lead. “That’s the largest lead Mr. Trump has ever had in a Times/Siena national poll. In fact, it’s the largest lead Mr. Trump has held in a Times/Siena or Times/CBS poll since first running for president in 2015,” writes Nate Cohn at NYT.
KZY was avos u'banim melava malka, not shul. Huge shout out to Reb TM!!
ReplyDeleteYou forgot to mention that thousands of bnos yisroel are sitting and refreshing their emails all night, tonight, to see if they were accepted to Seminaries. Is this normal? Mi k'amcha Yisroel!
ReplyDeleteWhat is your proposed alternative solution?
DeleteWho cares if he has an alternative? It would be shot down aborted either way
DeleteIf you have nothing smart to say, say nothing. The reality is people love to complain but don't provide an alternative option.
DeleteIs it true that kzy faces the wrong direction??
ReplyDeleteIs it normal that 8th grade girls are taking entrance exams today for 2 hrs?? When most had interviews and know where they're going??? What's the point? The schools saw their 7th and 8th grade report cards. Nothing has changed.
ReplyDeleteThe elites mesivta system is destroying more and more bochurim
ReplyDeleteWhat system do you speak of?
DeleteIn your view, what is the purpose of yeshivos?
You used the word "elite". What does that mean? Please accurately describe all the mesiftas in Lakewood and beyond. Once you have done so, we will then be able to have a mature conversation about "elite".
Afterwards, we can have a conversation as to whether there should indeed be yeshivos which are elite.
Of course 90 percent of yeshives are not elite, the issue is the one opening the yeshive thinks he's going to have the greatest yeshive ever and hires a staff that's made for elite boys that don't need help, as they could Shteig in their local Shul, but 2 years later you have a struggling yeshive with a staff that has no clue how to deal with the boys, just how to give a class A Shiur
