- A senior Israeli official says that there is a chance of reaching a hostabe deal during the Moslem holiday of Ramadan. "We'll see in the coming week if it's possible. It's hard to get there, but under certain conditions it's possible." Regarding a possible operation in Rafah, the senior official said: "The operation will be carried out, the question is when. There are many complexities here."
- The head of the US Senate Intelligence Committee said that Israel’s aim to eliminate all of Hamas is not “a realistic goal” as officials fear terror cells are likely to be born from the ashes or replaced by neighboring militant groups. Committee Chairman Mark Warner (D-Va.) told CBS’s Face the Nation that after holding meetings with Israeli officials over the war in Gaza, he has doubts that the end of the conflict is near despite Prime Minister Netanyahu’s claims that it will be over in 2024.

- Biden Ramadan message, said that “the suffering of the Palestinian people will be front of mind for many” during Ramadan. “It is front of mind for me”.
- Hamas high command number three Marwan Issa possibly killed by IDF strike. Issa was reportedly hiding in Nusirat, in central Gaza, at the time of the strike, and it is unclear whether the Hamas leader was killed in the event
- Vile' and 'auto-antisemitic': Israeli minister Chikli slams Oscar-winning Jewish Holocaust film director who said “Whether the victims of October the 7th in Israel or the ongoing attack on Gaza, all the victims of this dehumanization. How do we resist?” Jonathan Glazer asked.
"There is no forgiving such vile types – auto-antisemitic Jews, from Judith Butler until last night's idiot, but there is no reason to get excited over the phenomenon, it has accompanied us for generations," Chikli said.
