    1. It seems the askanim have started an intimidation campaign. Instead of harassing others, explain how your actions are beneficial to the community.

    2. No merde!
Remind me, who was attacking and besmirching in these comments?! The ‘askanim’ are fair game, and when someone shows you that you are just looking for someone to blame, it is called intimidation?

    3. So let's start with the Rosh askanim, ie; Aguda. Aguda has called on the governors for camps to open, but made no mention of shuls or yeshiva. In fact, they released pages of guidelines about how to safely open a shul after the government allow it. But camps didn't come with pages of guidelines. Why? Could it be because Aguda owns a number of campus themselves. If their askunis is working, they should advocate fir shuls too, and if they're being ignored, then why even try. The aguda reps are on various reopening commissions in NY and NJ, so they have a platform to advocate, yet remain silent, except for camps.
Tomorrow I'll start naming individual askanim that are behind keeping shuls closed and intimidating roshei yeshivas.

  3. Isn't it ironic that after saddling Lakewood with a huge tax increase just a few days ago the local officials are all of a sudden concerned about shop owners and loss of business

  4. Tax increases are there to pay bills for mandated services. You can’t keep on eating free lunches and not expect taxes to rise. You can’t keep on ‘borrowing’ and then expect it to disappear. Someone has to pay. You can not keep on borrowing to have more to spend AND to repay your old loans. The balloon will bust.
I know certain areas, certain countries, were not raised with this basic logic and can’t comprehend this basic ‘economics 101’.
Sorry. But your in the real REAL world now.

    1. They spent millions on NON mandated services and have a huge increase in revenue from all the construction. In the REAL world there is accountability and fiscal responsibility apparently Lakewood does not seem to get that.

    2. Why should they be accountable, they are guaranteed to be reelected.

  5. Actually the free lunches are not from local taxes. You get to eat free lunches through federal monies. So don't mislead and say the meals were from local income

    1. Move out.
    2. Move out.
    3. Move out.
