Letter: Lakewood BMG poskim allowing Indoor Minyanim There Must be an option of Safe תפילה בצבור for all
In Shuls without a Rav these guidelines will be very difficult to maintain.
What will give "memunah" the authority and power to enforce them?
Therefore such shuls should require that all those attending first sign a pledge that they will keep to the guidelines and listen to the appointed "memunah" or stop attending.
(And of course they should start looking for a Rav...)
Its people like you whom everyone is sick and tired of. IF MY SHUL HAS NO RAV WE'll TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES . STOP BEING SO NOSY . EVERYONE (besides for you and your type) ARE MATURE ADULTS.
This is the problem, people think that mature men have to be controlled it dosent enter your mind that these 10 men who managed to form a minyan and buid a shul cant be trusted to have a minyan with guidelines this is how askanim and the vaad think that they own the people of Lakewood and treat them like babibes.
The official mouth piece of the establishment hasn't posted this letter yet perhaps it's a forgery. Additionally they tend to publicize their opinions right before Shabbos so I think this is a forgery
My shul opened this week with a limit to 10 in a room, with spaces marked off at 6 foot intervals to keep people apart. But people are not keeping to them! The guy next to me came close to look out the window. And then the next person came over to peruse the seforim in the bookcase I was in front of. And the next person can't break his habit of pacing during davening. I b"h haven't gotten the virus yet as far as I know, and you are making me so nervous I can barely daven! Please, even if you personally are not keeping distancing any more, please please have consideration for those people who are, and keep to your space in shul!!!
Yours is the kind of twisted mentality that has become normal in this crisis. JUST SATY HOME if you're that nervous. It's your problem at this point. Stop making everyone elase crazy because YOU didnt have this virus.
"There Must be an option of Safe תפילה בצבור for all" Can somebody explain what this means? Either there is, or there isn't enough space. I don't chap.
That if there are people in your neighborhood who cannot daven indoors for safety reasons, the neighborhood should make sure there are enough people to form an outdoor minyan for these people, before opening indoor minyanim.
basically the rabbonim dont want someomne to loose out tefila nנetzibur if opening a shul will stop the outdoor minyanim. Since it is limited to 10 people it wont help a father and his children or in a big development they should continue the outdoors minyanim. its called יצא שכרו בהפסדו
It does not say a limit per minyan
ReplyDeleteIt says to clarify current and up-to-date legal limitations with Askanim so...
DeleteSee the second paragraph, it says after confirming current and up-to-date legal limitations, which is currently 10 or less
