Conservative Movement Files Suit to Disqualify all Votes for Eretz Hakodesh from WZO Elections

An official Complaint was filed by the Conservative movement, with the Tribunal of the American Zionist Movement, which supervised the WZO election, demanding that all the votes cast on behalf of Eretz Hakodesh slate be disqualified and that its delegates be annulled.  According to a article in the Lehovin newspaper the complaint is based on the WZO constitution that an individual wishing to vote in the election of Congress delegates is required to be a member of a body affiliated with the World Zionist Organization” (WZO Constitution, Article 22).”

The article continues "The Complaint makes it clear to all that Zionism is at diametric odds with Torah Judaism and that frum Jews have no business belonging to a Zionist organization and if they do, they’re simply deceiving others and fooling themselves".

  2. What's the next step? To file a counter suit and lie that we ח"ו do believe in WZO ideals? Are we going to rely on hidden and secret supposed 'psakim' that we should take part in such a lawsuit? Why not - didn't we unfortunately fall into this vote through lies, deception and fantastical thinking?

We need a project Veritas to expose the שקר and deception sprung upon us by some misguided people who work in the supposedly 'frum' media.

    It's very sad.

  4. This is very much pertaining to Lakewood, the rosh yeshiva Rav malkiel wrote a very long teshuva against voting in the wzo. Lakewood bnei torah have the achrayus to carry the mesorah of the gedolei hador who all ruled against joining the movement of kefira.

    1. While it is true that they are for the most part hypocritical because they definitely don’t agree with the intentions of the founding of the organization however there are many Gedolim who said that we should vote for them.

  7. This proves how important and how necessary it was to vote. It also shows how much we can accomplish by this as we see how much the conservative movementbos come ncerned by it.

    1. Exactly it proves how ill advised this was when you try to infiltrate their organizations and expect them to take it sitting down. They will do whatever it takes to keep the frum out.

How does this lawsuit prove this? What did your vote accomplish? Is this all about your personal נצחון? What about the רצון ה?

  10. Well they are right..... we made a good attempt backed by many gedolim (i believe r' Chaim and others signed a letter pro voting) to infiltrate their evil operation and now it seems that they will push us back. Oh well, at least we tried. It doesn't sound like it would be halachicly permissible to fight back, but we will see what the gedolim tell us.

    1. Which gedolim? Where is the letter? If there is really a letter intended to convince you, then it would have been published. That you trusted some anonymous website as your possek and didn't do the research might have been a grave error.
