    2. What mesira?

    3. There was this awesome fellow called Rabbi Yosef Karo, who quotes another awesome guy called Reb Asher, and another awesome friend of his called Reb Shmuel (son of Aderes), who all think informing the authorities is the correct way to act.
Maybe, just maybe, they were relying on those Rabbis.

    4. Before you quote awesome guys, cite the source. R Eliyahu Levin shlita just wrote a lengthy teshuva and I'm sure he is familiar with whomever your anonymous quotes may be that someone who masers minyanim etc is no longer considered a Yid.

    5. Can you link to Rav Eliyahu Levin's teshuva?

    7. Dear Am H-ooretz. Don't quote the Great or Awesome without a specific citation. R' Elyahu Levin teshuvah was posted in the Shuls and other places the mosrim frequent.

  2. The Voice page 78 states that the governor indicated "that the ban on religious services at houses of worship will be one of the last things to be removed."

Dont think we are going back to normal that fast. HKB'H should help us we need to daven for a yeshua. Teshuva- what can we change in our mehalech that we can improve on? Do we just go back to what we used to do?

  6. What mesira are you referring to?

  7. If the police arrive at a illegal minyan automatically all within 1/4 mile of the illegal minyan are to be assumed as mosrim.
The fact that these minyanim MAY ( nothing is sure ) cause people to die does come into play here.
If someone dies C’V will make a nice collection for the family. But if you call the police or don’t call but live within the 1/4 mile zone your doomed for life as a moser and of course no collection allowed for mistiming.

  8. A minyan cannot be illegal. In the USA we may freely practice our religion. Anyone who calls authorities on anyone davening, regardless of the size or distancing, is a moser. Sometimes mesira is allowed, and I doubt that this is one of those cases, but that still makes you a moser. A moser should not be allowed into shul once it opens.
We have seen a number of places where the non jewish neighbors have commented how beautiful the prayer is, yet in Lakewood prayer is aiva?

  9. If you may FREEELY practice you religion and that means any minyan when you want, where you want, and how you want it want would the police ar any other govt official show up at all?? It’s all legal?
Unless your in Israel and the Nazi/Zionist police show up in order to start a fight and then cause a huge hafganah?
If the police don’t come or they come illegally then you can’t be a Moser.
So 5:20 go back to your legal Yeshivah - if it’s not locked - and brush up on your logic.

    1. I am an attorney with years of constitutional law experience. There are numerous cases filed, and we'll see how this plays out. The Gov't cannot make restrictions that effectively ban you from performing your religious functions. This has been decided in case law many times. I am not sure why you reek from anger, and can't make an intelligent argument about the issue. Why does it bother you so much that people want to daven with minyan. They are not harming you in any way, you are free to stay quarantined as long as you wish.
As for police showing up, there were a number of drive by engagement parties in Lakewood where summons were issued, yet the superintendent today verified that drive by events are legal. So police coming and writing tickets doesn't mean it's actually illegal.

  10. Aivah is from the terrible Overbuilding of this town !
Aivah was caused by our Askonim who encouraged the Overbuilding.
Holy Jews trying to serve God in quiet
    Do Not Cause Aivah!

    1. Additionally, these idiots/mossrim caused the aivah by calling the cops and having things publicized. Had these idiots/mossrim not called the cops, no one would know anything of the drive through mazel tovs from immediate family.

  11. Aivah against shuls is midah kineged midah for the Jewish people who tried to stop shuls from building and killed other shuls. What goes around comes around...

  12. 5:48 police are required to come down when they are called. In most cases when social distancing was followed they did Not issue a summons. So.. We are staying in our legal shuls where we were the whole time and you.. please don’t come back.

  13. Strange that the law is the only issue at hand. Public health seems to be irrelevant

  17. For the HOTSHOT lawyer:

    Here is part A:

The Kansas Supreme Court has voted to uphold an executive order by the state's governor limiting the size of church gatherings on Easter Sunday, ending a dramatic legal clash in which the court was asked amid a global pandemic to decide between public health and religious liberty.

In a ruling issued on Saturday, the court said Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly was within her rights when she announced an order on Tuesday limiting religious gatherings in the state to 10 people. The ruling came after an extraordinary morning session in which the court's seven justices heard oral arguments via videoconference in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.

    1. Hey HOTSHOT you obviously don't know how courts work. Have you reviewed the case? Are you aware that the church admitted that there was no issue from a religious perspective in having the services virtually? That is not so with a jewish minyan.

    3. As far as I know the Shul in west gate that a lawyer was hired (by yidden!) to not let it build a proper building still doesn’t have a proper building. But as long as the tzaddikim feel good that’s all that counts.
