- Josh Gottheimer's campaign said it is not behind an ad that urges Jewish Republicans to cross party lines and vote for Gottheimer in June's gubernatorial primary. A new campaign ad in support of Rep. Josh Gottheimer is urging Jewish Republicans to change parties temporarily to vote for the Democrat in his party’s six-person contest for governor, saying Gottheimer is the “least not bad guy” in the race.
The ad, which appeared in the WhatsApp chat of a Jewish news site over the weekend, tells Jewish Republicans to “be a Democrat for a day” — or a “sheep in wolf’s clothing” — to cast a ballot for Gottheimer, who is Jewish. There are more than 1,000 people in the chat.
It’s unclear who’s behind the ad, and there’s nothing to indicate who paid for it. Gottheimer campaign spokesman Peter Opitz said the ad is not from the congressman’s campaign. Yahoo

How To Clean Properly For Pesach Without Making Yourself Insane

By Rabbi Shlomo Gissinger Zatzal
How to clean properly for Pesach without making yourself insane

Pesach – Z'man Cherusainu – is quickly approaching. We are all anxiously and impatiently awaiting its arrival. After all – the Seder nights in all their glory. The entire family – father, mother and children – sitting around the lavishly laden table – discussing in depth the very foundation of our emunah – יציאת מצרים. Our anticipation grows stronger with every passing day. Its unbearable – we can no longer wait!!! Or can we?? I must sadly admit that I've heard people say, “Pesach is unbearable”, “It's too hard”, “Not worth the work”.

Sreifas Chometz 5775

If my previous description of the Seder doesn't seem to match yours – perhaps you're doing something wrong. I must elaborate a bit and I will occasionally quote and draw from the writings of HaRav HaGaon Rav Chaim Pinchaos Scheinberg zatzal Obviously, the primary problem is the pre-Pesach cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning. Unfortunately, the average housewife does 75% more cleaning than is required according to the halacha. Spring cleaning should be done after Pesach.

The following items need not be washed for Pesach; Windows, walls, carpets, ceilings, doors and doorknobs. Linens, bedspreads, curtain, towels, fresh dish towels. For those who sell their chometz – all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, appliances (e.g. mixer, grinder, toaster, microwave etc.) and toys which are being stored away for Pesach.

The closet / room where chometz and / or chometz utensils are being locked up does not need to be cleaned for Pesach. Rather, merely take a quick assessment of the approximate amount of chometz present there so that is may be properly listed among items being sold as chometz.

Unholy Chutzpah

It’s ironic that the very same frum news media outlets, which passionately defended their advertising for Eretz Hakodesh by claiming it was necessary to bring in financial support for yeshivos in Eretz Yisroel, had no problem running ads for an organization calling on frum Jews to STOP supporting those very same yeshivos. Yes, that's exactly what happened. You might ask, how could this be?

Well, they ran banner ads for "Holy Chutzpah," a cynical and hostile campaign urging people to stop inadvertently funding yeshivos that boycott the IDF and ban soldiers. The campaign calls on donors to "check before you give."

On social media, the campaign mocks the frum lifestyle, portraying it as hypocritical—living a life of mitzvos while supporting yeshivos that oppose chayalim. It even labels donations to such yeshivos a "Ponzi scheme."

Here’s what’s written on their website:

"Here’s the truth: Many well-branded yeshivos hide the fact that they actively boycott the IDF and ban students who choose the mitzvah of defending Am Yisroel.
It is absurd for someone like you to be funding them.
Torah and Achdus are both sacred, however, they don’t need to be at the expense of your religious values or sanity.
While all Jews deserve your love, not all institutions deserve your donations."

DON’T BE A SUCKER. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
Don’t allow yourself to be scammed into funding Torah institutions that go against your religion and your ideology. Ignorance or an inferiority complex are not justifications to be bullied into doing something against your true Torah values. It’s time to stand up for what you believe in and put your money where your mouth is."

These ads were distributed by a frum ad content aggregator, which sends advertisements to frum media platforms and websites. They were quickly pulled after a public outcry. Could it have been a mistake? Possibly. But a serious mistake doesn’t just happen—it suggests a prior agreement to run these ads.

This follows the call by gedolei roshei yeshiva to boycott publications and media outlets that advertised the Eretz Hakodesh campaign calling it a churban of what they are doing, by legitimizing zionisim and attempting to change the face of the Jewish people and bnei Torah. As the Roshei yeshiva said its time to put them out of business.

The role of frum media has always been to filter out non-kosher content from secular media. However, it seems that these platforms have now become vehicles for promoting anti-Torah agendas and hashkafos that go against the values and lifestyle of the frum, charedi readership.

Some chutzpah.

- CIA claims to have found the ארון הקודש

Declassified CIA document from Project Sun Streak, dated 1988, claims that the Ark of the Covenant was discovered through remote viewing. The document describes the Ark as a wooden, gold, and silver coffin-shaped object with a six-winged angel, located underground in the Middle East and guarded by entities.
Remote Viewing is the process of using extra-sensory perception/non-local perception in altered/meditative states of consciousness to perceive objects and environments from a distance, which ties into quantum entanglement and the idea that everything is fundamentally connected.

In the bestseller book All for the Boss,
Rebbetzin Ruchoma Shain writes that a farmer was plowing a field in Israel when the ground suddenly opened before him. Descending into the hole, the farmer saw a resplendent golden treasure klei hamikdash buried there. Afraid to tell people lest they take him for a madman, he kept the matter a secret. The discovery haunted him, though, and on a visit to America he consulted with Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Herman.

After verifying the man’s integrity, Rabbi Herman instructed his son to bring a letter about the matter to the Chofetz Chaim, along with a map from the farmer. When he looked at the letter and map, the Chofetz Chaim went into the kitchen, lit a match, and burned the documents, saying, “It may be that the vessels are there, but the matter should not be publicized.”

Central Ave Traffic Woes: Uncovering the Hidden Agenda

Central Ave Traffic Woes: Uncovering the Hidden Agenda (Submitted)

The ongoing construction on Central Avenue has transformed our daily commutes into prolonged ordeals. Notably, the evening closures between Sunset Road and New Central Avenue, projected to last for two weeks, have been implemented with minimal communication from township officials.

Compounding the issue, the recent changes at Central and Caranetta have only exacerbated congestion, adding to our daily frustrations.

But here’s the bigger issue: our local representatives have been completely silent—and that silence speaks volumes. Many believe this mess is tied to a highly controversial housing development that’s quietly being supported behind the scenes. The township appears to be prioritizing infrastructure for that project, while letting the rest of us suffer the consequences.

What's more alarming is that our local representatives seem to prioritize the interests of developers, daycare owners, and nursing home operators over the needs of residents. Instead of addressing these pressing traffic issues, they divert attention to less critical matters, like debating scooter bans.

This situation underscores the urgent need for **ward-based representation** in our township. Currently, officials are elected at-large, meaning they aren't accountable to specific neighborhoods. By transitioning to a ward system, each area would elect its own representative—someone who truly

Video: Rav Dov Landau shlita Sharp Words on Voting for Eretz Hakodesh/WZO

Transcript of Special Video Message from
Rosh Yeshivas Slabodka Rav Dov Landau Regarding Voting for Eretz Hakodesh/WZO: איסור חמור מאד מאד מאד מאד!

Rav Dov Landau was asked voting or participating in the World Zionist Organization (WZO) elections. He says clearly that there is no heter what-so-ever and than any Gadol b'Yisroel that said it was allowed was fed the wrong information. "It's as if they told you to go and serve עבודה זרה!" He addresses the so-called "statement" of R' Chaim Kanievsky ztvk"l in support of Eretz Hakodesh "He was not given the proper information." "One is mechuyav to cancel their vote!"
Rav Landau dismisses the notion that there could be “another side” on such a basic Torah attitude. If some Gedolei Yisroel were cited as having given their assent, the question must have been presented incorrectly. No Gadol could possibly have agreed to joining the World Zionist Organization, which was founded with the express purpose of destroying the Torah and maintains that goal until today.

Transcript, translated from Hebrew by UKforTorah:

:The WZO was founded with the goal of making Am Yisroel into a secular nation. That was its purpose, and that is what it engages is, and that is what they’ve done – to turn Am Yisroel into a secular nation, without Torah, and without Borei Olam – Rachmona Litzlan – without Torah, without anything!

That was the purpose – and, to an extent, it was to accomplish that purpose that they also built the State, which is secular. The topic of that we participate in the [Knesset] elections in the secular State – that is a completely different topic. But to participate in the WZO, which is entirely kefira in Borei Olam, kefira in Torah, in Am Yisroel as an Am Kadosh L’HaShem, to turn them into Amon and Moav – that is something very very seriously [wrong]. It’s impossible to participate in their institutions. That would be called us having a connection to them, and we don’t!

One can say the sharpest words; I don’t want to express myself more sharply. But the fact is, that [it is] turning Am Yisroel from an Am Kadosh L’HaShem into a secular nation, without Torah, without Mitzvos, without anything.

Q. What’s the definition of the issur – a [halachic] issur or a problem of Chillul HaShem?

It’s everything – being partners with the secular. I’ll say words that are bit too sharp – if the decision would be regarding serving Avodah Zora, would there still be a question? No! This is Avodah Zora; kefira is like Avodah Zora, and even worse!

Q. The issur includes only to run [as a WZO representative] or also to participate in the elections?

To be with them in their institutions.

Q. Is there an issur on each individual on voting?

Each and every individual. Just like if there would an idea that we have to go serve Avoda Zora, would that be a collective issur or on each individual? The WZO says that Am Yisroel is a nation of secularists, and each individual has to declare that he opposed to that.

Q. People ask – is there an issur to vote?

A very, very, very, very, grave issur!

Q. They say that there were Gedolei Yisroel זצ"ל, in the previous generations, who permitted.

They didn’t present them with the question in the way they should have. [These Gedolim] were immersed in Torah and Mitzvos, and the question was presented to them incorrectly.

Q. There are those who already voted, but have the option of cancelling the vote.

They are obligated to cancel, they are obligated to cancel! They are extremely obligated, there is no exemption.

Agudah Moetzes Kol Korei Regarding the Elections for the WZO

Kol Korei Regarding the Elections for the WZO

Below is a Kol Korei from the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of America regarding the elections for the WZO. It does not mention Eretz Hakodesh by name but refers to it.

A recent policy change there are no individual signatures of moetzes members.

[Free Translation] The Zionist Movement was founded 125 years ago with the purpose of uprooting the foundations of Judaism and redefining the Jewish people from “a kingdom of servants of Hashem and a holy people” into a nation like all nations who are defined by a common language, culture and land. Since, in the words of Rav Saadiah Gaon, “our nation is a nation by virtue of its Torah,” the gedolim of that time did battle with this movement and ruled that anyone who considers himself a Jew may not support it in any manner whatsoever. It was for this reason that they founded Agudath Israel—to prevent those who keep Torah and mitzvos from joining the Zionist Movement.

Accordingly, the geonim the Chofetz Chaim, the Gerrer Rebbe, Rav Chaim of Brisk, the Chazon Ish, Rav Aharon Kotler, the Steipler, Rav Elazar Menachem Man Shach, and Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, zichronam livracha, forbade joining the World Zionist Organization (WZO). The Chofetz Chaim ruled that it is forbidden to join it even if this means a third of the yeshivos will have to close. Similarly, recently, a ruling forbidding this was issued by Maran Hagaon Rav Dov Landau shlit”a.

About five years ago, a party of Chareidim was formed with the declared intention of joining the WZO. It claimed that thereby they would rescue the holy sites of Israel from control by the Reform and that they would thereby direct monies of the WZO to the yeshivos. Now that at this time there are elections for the WZO, this party and others similar to it have embarked on a massive advertising campaign to convince those committed to Judaism to vote for them to become delegates to the WZO.

In order to vote, the voter must sign a declaration that he accepts upon himself the Zionist ideology, which does not recognize that the Jewish people is bound by the Torah. He also declares that he encourages participation in the IDF and that those who are exempt must serve in Sherut Leumi (national service for both yeshiva students and Chareidi girls). The elected delegates become full partners in the activities of the WZO, including those that negate the Torah. We therefore believe that it is forbidden to vote in these elections.

We do not intend to impugn the honor of those distinguished rabbis who ruled that it is permitted. However, our opinion is that there are many issurim (prohibitions) involved here, both for the voters and for the delegates. 1) There is a massive chillul Hashem in declaring acceptance of the heretical ideas of the WZO. 2) It is forbidden to agree to matters that the Torah leadership of Klal Yisroel says are forbidden. 3) For elected delegates, it is forbidden to join a group of sinners (hischabrus l’resha’im). 4) The voters are mesayei’a lidei aveirah (assisting in the commission of aveiros). It is obvious that the money hoped to be received from the WZO does not justify these serious issurim.

We have therefore agreed to publicize our opinion that it is forbidden to vote for any party in the election for the WZO. We firmly believe that Hashem has ways to preserve Torah amongst the Jewish people without resorting to violating these issurim. We wish a pleasant life replete with the blessings promised to those who sanctify the Name of Hashem and who abstain from joining with those who uproot Judaism. May Hashem grant that we merit speedily that the entire Jewish people return to their Father in Heaven and accept upon themselves the yoke of Torah. May all of us together become a kingdom of servants of Hashem and a holy people.

For this we have gathered and agreed upon on Thursday, the 20th of Adar, 5785. Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of America

Video: Rav Yitzchok Lichtenstein on Eretz Hakodesh We must Speak out מי לה' אלי

Rav Yitzchok Lichtenstein shlita Rosh Yeshiva Torah Vodaas speaking at the Asifas Harabbonim called by the Roshei Yeshiva of BMG opposing any participation in the World Zionist Organization (WZO) and particularly the so-called Chareidi party Eretz Hakodesh. The Rosh Yeshiva explained why joining the WZO is ossur with no heter what-so-ever and that nothing has changed today that would effect the clear p'sak of the Gedolei Olam for generations. There are those who say that today is different than back during the days of Rav Reuven grozovsky that is false, secondly the prenise that they will have a hashpaah is a lie as zionism is alive and the redifas hadas in Eretz Yisrael is very strong.

Eretz Hakodesh is treif like chazer The issue with Eretz Hakodesh is not over a simple vote where you pay 6 dollars and vote in 2 minutes; it's about the קרירות הדעת knowing that there's a separating wall between us and them.  When you allow them in it will lead to harmful consequences like drafting yeshiva students and Jewish girls. What was once clear to us as forbidden has become questionable due to propaganda. If we had maintained our stance that it was treif, this wouldn't have happened. We must speak up boldly—there's no room for doubt. The struggle is over who holds the authority: the דעת בעלי בתים or Torah leaders. Unfortunately, the laypeople hold the power. This isn't about fanaticism, or kanaus it's about simple truths. We need to speak out and be afraid of what others say, or else the confusion will continue.

We must confront the websites and publications and fight them showing that they are not on control neither are בעלי בתים or גבירים in the הנהגה of klal yisroel.
The truth must be heard, and with Hashem’s help, it will prevail.

Treif Into Kosher: The Story Of Eretz Hakodesh

Article authored by Harav Aharon Feldman shlita R"Y Ner Yisrael Baltimore in 2023. It appeared in a recent issue of diologue magazine here. The R"Y explains in great detail the danger falshoods and attempts by Eretz hakodesh to persuade the charedi public to vote for it. The charedi public must do its utmost to uproot this chilul hashem from its midst and refrain en mass from voting in the next WZO elections. See pages 22- 24 regarding the opinions of Rav Chaim Kanievsky zatzal and YBL"C Rav Shmuel Kamenetzky shlita

"From its inception until today, Eretz Hakodesh’s campaign to enlist the support of Chareidi Jewry has been accompanied by a very disturbing phenomenon: the dissemination of numerous partial or complete untruths and factual distortions intended to shape public opinion about Eretz Hakodesh and the permissibility of voting for it. It began with its founder claiming in the frum press that “Eretz Hakodesh has the backing of numerous rabbanim, ..

"During the WZO election campaign in 2020, the founder of Eretz Hakodesh twice approached Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky, the senior Rosh Hayeshiva in North America, to give his support to the group, which the Rosh Yeshiva declined to do. Rav Shmuel confirmed his opposition to Eretz Hakodesh in a meeting at his home in 2020, which the Lakewood Rosh Hayeshiva, Rav
Malkiel Kotler, and the author of this article attended.

'For all intents and purposes, there was no written response forthcoming from Rav Chaim at all. Once this became apparent, Rav Kamenetsky discounted the veracity of the claim of Rav Chaim’s support. Rather than allow ourselves to be caught up in the web of innuendo and
untruths being spun by Eretz Hakodesh around Rav Chaim’s position on the WZO, we ought to speak openly and honestly about that which we all know—who Rav Chaim was and what he believed and stood for his entire life. And in that spirit, we must ask: Is it logical to believe that Rav Chaim was prepared to permit that which gedoley olam, including his uncle, the Chazon Ish and father-in-law, Rav Elyashiv, prohibited"....
