Motzei Shabbos Shelach News updates

Hot weather continues through Sunday in low 90's, Rain on Monday.

 - Many Lakewood tebbeim were away for shabbos at a hotel in CT for the annual weekend retreat.

- House Minority Leader Kevin Owen McCarthy will visit Lakewood, NJ on Sunday. McCarthy is slated to visit Beth Medrash Govoha, and will also attend a private, reception hosted by Dr. Richard Roberts.

- Hundreds of demonstrators gathered around New Jersey on Friday to speak out against the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision that struck down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, ending the nearly 50-year constitutional right to have an abortion.

- People across the country taking to the streets to protest and support the decision, officials warned that the United States could face a wave of violence from extremists

- Manchester - A two-car collision in the Pine Lake Park section of the township claimed the life of a 70-year-old Jackson man, critically injured his passenger and left the other driver hospitalized. The crash happened shortly before 8 p.m. Friday at Commonwealth and Northampton boulevards.
