  4. If the 2300 tax exempt properties in Lakewood Township would pay property taxes, they wouldn’t have to raise taxes every year on everyone else.

    1. Well at least the ridiculous CEO ordinance for a 30 year tax abatement on a certain individual's property between E. Spruce and Pine St. did not go through.

  6. The frum websites ignore and don't report on the TAG gathering for ladies. Yes it is against them but as news sites its stupid of them to not mention it. They are shallow agenda driven and have no teeth. Last week the Lakewood scoop refused to report on Adirei hatorah pettiness and childish.

  7. Aisle 9 seems to think that they can force people to buy more stuff by not providing baskets
    They only provide carts
Unless there’s another explanation of why they make running in quick for something so inconvenient . .

    1. Overlooked? Don't have a good system where to put the baskets when paying and efficiently getting back to near the entrance without making customers uncomfortable when taking the baskets at the line? Did you ask them? It's worthwhile to make our reflexive and impulsive reaction to be to first try to fix a problem.

    2. Aaaand maybe their order of baskets was delayed due to the current shipping crisis? And you're so perfect?

  8. Subsidized kosher phones 99$ - it really doesn't help when the price is double a cheap smartphone that probably lasts longer

  9. Why is AGUDAH of NJ or the VAAD or BOE not out in front supporting Arthur Lang to fix the funding formula if they meant leshem shamayim they would help him, instead the Lakewood establishment went after him out of jealousy and tried sabatoging the case, and if he is successful you will see everyone taking credit.

  13. “reprehensible” and “frightful in its scope.”are the Terms the media and the political public would have used had some official attacked any
Court ruling whatsoever whether agree or disagree with terms “not just reckless,” “reprehensible” and “frightful in its scope.”

How is it the back in the day with the Warren, Burger
    Court

and the only I know the other it was

The gist is how radical attitudes are allowed to have changed on a dime now that the Court has finally returned to a somewhat conservative bent after literally decades of wrecking havoc

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. So the opposite of conservative is 'wreaked havoc'. Interesting. Why? How are our interests better served by conservative attitudes, such as allowing guns everywhere in the country? How are our lives better for that?

    2. Reread post: whether agree or disagree

Personally I disagree with this ruling. But that should be irrelevant.

Reverence for the Court was Nationwide accepted consensus and used to browbeat Conservatives into teeth grinding quietude during all those decades when there was a left domination. Imagine if the conservatives would have done this during all those decades! The country and the world would be a different place today!
But they unhappily grew old even while believing the court was wrecking the country for the sake of all. The travesty!

  16. Aisle 9 is a great store. Unlike other stores in town who cry the Hidden run to the goyishe stores to save a few pennys. Aisle 9 gets it, besides competitive pricing, they understand YOU are doing them a favor when you walk in, so they provide GREAT SERVICE, no waiting, all prices clearly marked, rotten returns don't go back on the shelves etc etc. The one thing they do seem to be cursed with however is horrible parking situation, even in the new store

The reality is that some of the people who are attacking the politicians for what they're doing wrong, would do the same if they were in power. All these politicians started with great intentions.

    1. Doubt your children feel happier and safer growing up in a society where everyone needs a gun for mutual assured safety

      But again, irrelevant

The Democratic response is cruel: everything must always keep going under their control and direction or they will destroy to its root every institution.
Grant them more and more dominance of the whole planet or they will drag all down

    2. What utter stupidness, if you want to use the 2nd amendment argument than fine, but to say the more ppl with gun's will make us safer in any way just doesn't add up, for most citizens life would be much safer if it's extremely tough to get a gun.

    3. "Stupidness", now that's an autological word. :)
