  3. One second, so now there is another parking fee, and the food has been canceled. If you come an hour and a half early (!), there will be some food. And all this as a kavod for Bnei Torah?!?!?!?
What a Kidush Hashem it will be when the Bnei Torah of town show up in the masses in the Batei Midrashim of Lakewood, ignoring mass cultural events in Philadelphia. When they learn another few lines of Gemara, instead of listening to vapid self-congratulatory speeches. When they occupy their minds with a Sugya, instead of dancing like concert goers.
That Kidush Hashem will be a gevaldige zechus for all of us.

  4. I am assuming those 35 residents' kids are in schools and never had problems getting in. I hate the congestion to and oppose more residential development but as far as I'm concerned all schools should expand.

    1. You're a clown and what you said is totally ridiculous.

Those 35 residents have no issue with schools expanding. Their legitimate problem is that this school owner is doing things in a way that makes things easier for him to make more money on his Simcha Hall, while he destroys life for the neighborhood. He is perpetrating an act of pure selfishness and greed at the expense of others. That is not the way to build torah.

He can have the largest simcha hall in town if he wants, but he has no right to build it in a place which there's no room for it. Let him try pulling this shtick in any other town in the USA and we'll all see how far he gets.

  5. Why is BY making a chillul Hashem? Why is it so difficult for the owner to be ehrlich? Where's the yashrus in doing all kinds of shtik which will be mazik the rabim?

    1. The worst land use offenders in town are the school owners, because they do whatever they want - no matter how crazy - and blame it on the torah.

  9. You just posted that the food at the event is under KCL. Can we know who is preparing the food? Whose meat & chicken are they using? Unfortunately, most Bnei Torah in Lakewood don't use AGRI. This is despite KCL allowing the Yeshiva to use it. But shouldn't the Yungerleit know in advance if their standards are being met? Do they need to eat before they come? Please get us the information we need. We have come to rely on you & we know we can trust you!

    1. If you don't eat Agri, you certainly shouldn't be going to the stadium
