  1. Smith is a RINO and locally the powerful connected to the VAAD got grants and funds but everyone else is suffering from inflation and high taxes time to vote out those who forget about the people who put them in power.

  2. Smith didn't get a penny to widen the 9 he's owned by special interests

  3. He helps every one of his constituents
I think that is what is the most important

  5. Chris Smith is one of those rare politicians who is truly in this to roll up his sleeves and do good in the world, not for partisan politics or his self aggrandizement. We have a treasure here in our district and it would be a travesty for him to be voted out in favor of some unknown upstart.

  6. Vote column A send a message to the RINOS we don't put up with sellouts.
Smith voted to raise taxes and is responsible for the current inflation after he voted with Biden.

  7. When the self appointed defunct Lakewood vaad endorses a candidate you know it stinks and you run the other way. Yes they got favors from Smith but what about the little guys? The ones who vote like blind sheep keep getting taken for granted and get nothing in return.
Show them the door by voting column A.

    1. When Rudy G. endorses someone, that's the clue that the other guy, in this case Smith, is honest.

  8. For those that ever had any issues Smith office can be a real help. His office really tries and actually gets results. The fact is he is the only politician around that the little guy can turn to! There are definitely things that we may not be happy with. But, wouldn't it be silly to knock out a guy who is pretty powerful and really helps out when there is nobody else to talk to? I wish I can say the same of our other elected officials aka Singer, Kean etc. unfortunately, they are the typical unhelpful politicians - they do not help the little guy ..

  9. State refuses to fix rt 9, giving the state earmarked federal money will not change anything. They've been offered federal money to fix rt 9 many times, and it went to waste.

  10. Too bad Ackerman is running unopposed, it's time from fresh blood in the committee. He plays a nice game, but goes along with all the shtick.

Has anyone seen the old guy recently? Other than a few mumbles on the phone of yes votes, he's been completely AWOL for over two years!

  11. Vote out Smith and let a Democrat defeat an incumbent that is a great idea. Don’t forget that there was a Democratic redistricting recently where Smith — or any Republican — barely has a chance to win in the district for the next 10 years.

    1. Wow good catch. Do all the Crispi enthusiasts not realize that a primary vote for Crispi means handing the seat to the Democrats in November?
