Matzav: It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Leibe Gruber zt”l, rov of Bais Medrash Zichron Yoel of Lakewood. He was 60 years old.
Rav Gruber was a noted rov and marbitz Torah, and a longtime resident of Lakewood. Rav Gruber battled illness for the last few years and passed away this morning.
The levayah will be held today, at 1 p.m., at Bais Medrash Zichron Yoel, located at 1014 Lawrence Avenue. The aron will then be transported to Kiryas Yoel, NY, for kevurah there.
Rav Gruber is survived by his devoted rebbetzin, Mrs. Shayna Gruber, and their family.
